If you are on Instagram (and ummm who isn't) , then you would have come across atleast one picture of the #HarryEshk wedding which was doing the rounds of the app all of last month. What's so special about it you ask ? Well... a few things. First of, the bride is a super chic event manager who runs a company called EWE and she tied the knot in Dubai. Secondly, she is besties with Shraddha Kapoor and the sister of TV presenter Karan Wahi. Finally, the video of their lipdub is one of the funnest things we have seen in a long, long time and her vidai is the coolest 'speedboat vidai ' for a bride ever. No tears for a vidai like that!
Meet Eshanka and Harit
While they were set up on a 20 minute coffee date by their parents 2 years ago, it turned into a 7 hour blind date. The rest they say is history.

From the bride:
Ok so I'm a planner and I have an excel sheet for pretty much everything in my life and my wedding would of course be no different. I made an entire excel for my bridal looks which had every detail- starting from clothes to colour inspiration to the ideal designer, to shoes to jewellery to accessories. Yep, Checklists help!
The wedding was at the Park Hyatt, Dubai which is one of my favourite hotels in Dubai. It overlooks the yacht club and the golf course. The décor mood, inspiration boards, detailing and designing were done by me, and my team EWE executed it all. From a Moroccan themed Mehendi which was bright and chic, to a blingy Engagement and Sangeet and an enchanted vintage garden Wedding with beautiful memories, it was all planned to perfection.
With respect to my outfits, I wore a high-waisted straight fuchsia skirt with a scallop crop choli and cape on my Mehendi. I added a head-band tiara and chandbaalis designed by mom Richa Wahi. For the Sangeet, I went for a slightly off-beat color in a grey and rose gold lehenga and a blush pink Sabya for the wedding day. I took the unconventional route of leaving my hair open and keeping just a single dupatta on my head,' says Eshanka.
"If I were to look back at my wedding, there were two most memorable moments for me. The first one was the video of all my close friends and family giving me messages and narrating memories. This was showcased at the Sangeet night and was made by my sister and my mom! It brought me to tears throughout. The second one was planned by Harit and his sister, Ritika to do my vidai on a yacht! It was absolutely perfect! I went with my brothers Karan and Sanchit Wahi, best friend (Shraddha kapoor), Harit - my husband and Ritika- my sister in law, on a beautifully decorated “Just Married” yacht right after the pheras. A 100% No Tear Vidai and laughing throughout!" adds Eshanka.
