Prachi's elegant engagement was all things pretty and understated, and when we heard that she achieved all of this without spending a ton of cash , we knew we had to know the budgeting behind it. The cold shoulder gown, the minimalist decor and the addition of that nath all elevated this engagement and so here is the low down on how much money she spent on it in Mumbai, shot by We Do Moments!
From the bride...
I live in London and my fiance is from Kolkata and my engagement was to happen in Mumbai, which is where our families live. I would have had a very hard time had it not been for WedMeGood! It was a typical Gujarati engagement with all the traditional rituals and a few of my friends performing for us on our big day.
The budgeting...
Venue , Food & Decor :
We had a very controlled budget engagement. The decor was a part of the banquet package and was included in it. Balaji Party Hall charged us Rs 1250/- per plate which included the rent of the banquet, decor and food. Rs 1250/- per person with a good layout of veg food was quite a steal!
The Outfit:
My outfit from Chamee and Palak was appoximately for Rs 60,000.
My fiance's outfit from Libas cost us Rs 27,000.
