Meet Ajeta and Keten

They  both work at Microsoft  and that’s how they got to know each other. She says "Initially there were only WhatsApp conversations until we accidentally met in front of a famous food truck in Seattle. This was followed by many dates and soon, he proposed to me over a bowl of Chipotle!"

From the bride:   My dad and I wanted to have a pink color theme for engagement and red & golden color theme for the wedding. After I did a lot of online research on how people do their decorations, we decided to go ahead with pink & orange as it was a day function. I was very particular on not to make the decoration too gaudy and I wanted a mix of traditional and modern look. Kaveri & Akshay from Designer Events Inc. did a good job and made sure to customize all the center pieces, entrance decoration, stage backdrop etc. I had also asked them to make a customized photo-op for me and they did a great job at that.

For myself, I wanted to dress up very traditionally and thus, I wanted to wear a lehenga with pink  in it. I wasn’t very inclined on wearing western-inspired dress as I miss wearing traditional Indian dresses . Picking a lehenga and getting it ready within 2 weeks wasn’t a very easy task. After going to various stores in Chandni Chowk, Gurgaon and South Ex, I found a lehenga at Frontier Raas, South Ex. It was a light green& golden colored lehenga with pink work on it. It had all the colors I had thought of wearing on my engagement!
