The grand Ambani wedding is finally over- and this was a wedding like no other! Yep, probably one of the biggest weddings in the world, this one had a lot of impeccably dressed people, including the bride herself of course- Isha Ambani. She kept it subtle and simple as a bride is what we feel, putting down all those rumours to rest! Reception Look: Gold tones in the first Maison Valentino Lehenga ever!

This is for the first time that Valentino has created a lehenga, and it had to be for Isha Ambani of course! A first of its kind lehenga with gold tones and some pretty work on it- this one was gorgeous and subdued for her Reception !

Pre wedding Dinner: Sparkling in a customised gown by Maison Valentino

Valentino customised this gown for one of Isha Ambani's pre wedding festivities as she wore a fully embroidered silver evening gown designed exclusively for her. We love how she paired it with that statement emerald and diamond necklace, giant rocks on her ears and soft waves!

Reliance Reception Look: Regal in a rich Sabyasachi lehenga

Isha Ambani Piramal wore a custom velvet lehenga from Sabyasachi's zardosi revival series in silver, salma-sitara, dabka and bullion; keeping traditions of yore alive in their purist form. This was a pretty lehenga that looked very very rich and classic!

Wedding Look: Ivory and gold with a touch of colour and heritage in Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla!

 

The combination of ivory and gold seems to be a very popular one with the celebrity brides! Sonam wore it for her mehendi, Deepika for her reception and we saw Isha Ambani wear it for her wedding- and all three in Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla! AS described by the designers, "Isha Ambani wore a 16-panelled ghagra in 2 shades of off white features a trail. Each panel is hand embroidered. Mughal Jaalis and floral panels alternate in the finest zardozi, vasli, mukaish and nakshi work. Every flower or jaali is highlighted with Crystals and sequins. Red or vermilion the iconic bridal hue features in the zardozi borders, lending an auspiciousness to the ensemble." What was special was that Isha wore her mother Nita Ambani's 35-year-old wedding sari on her own big day as a dupatta, which was a very sweet gesture. Her jewellery was all diamonds, but her bridal look unlike all the speculation was quite simple and subtle! Her stylist described her as "Here comes the millennial bride. But with her tradition and values in place. "

Sangeet Look: Shining bright in Manish Malhotra 

For her Sangeet, Isha Ambani went down the all-gold way, which meant dazzling in a beautiful custom Manish Malhotra creation!  With a layered diamond necklace, loads of bangles and tear drop earrings, she looked classy and subtle without looking OTT!

For her Maha Arti, Isha wore an embellished fuchsia lehenga by Manish Malhotra, and kept it pretty with a gorgeous diamond set! Her makeup was clean and fresh, with a nude lip and open hair.

Engagement Look: Unmatched luxury in a 'rare' Dolce & Gabbana nude gown

For her engagement in Lake Como, Italy, the bride-to-be opted for a heavily embellished nude gown, which she paired with matching headgear and earrings.
