Probably the only styling bit the groom is confused about - styling the stole. Of course, grooms nowadays know what they want. Plush bandhgalas, interesting sherwanis and sweet vests aside, they really don't know what to do with a stole. It's cumbersome so some avoid it. It's easy to drape, so some just throw it on like an after-thought. Not us, though - we like to know simple wearable styles that are not too tough or over-styled so we can show a bit of style. 7 ways to steal the thunder with a stole - grooms, perk up your ears and eyes, in this case!
1. Side Sweep

Just a nice silk dupatta tied to one side - that's the only way it stays up and stays on, leaving you with your arms and hands, free. But first, you need to pleat it up and then set it up with a pin or an accessory.
2. Around the Neck

This one's as simple as it looks - pleat it up with the border showing and wrap it around your neck. Good stuff!
3. The Poetic Look

There are two ways to style this stole - one over the arm and one with the dupatta under the arm. In any case, this one is for the soulful boy.
4. The Front Drape and The Side Show

There are two sweet looks in this - one, the look from 80s Hindi movies, the dupatta over the shoulders. The second is just one drape on the side - a flowy one with no pleats.
5. The Behind The Back Look

Pull it out from one side on the shoulder, around the back to the front - and drape it around your wrist. A safe look but a sweet one!
6. The Wrap Around Your Neck Look

This one goes like an ordinary dupatta, turn it around your neck and head and bingo, you are set for the week.
7. The Roll-It-Around-Your-Wrist Look

Look how our favourite groom this year wore it - he wore the stole around his back and twirled it in consecutive rolls around the wrist.
