Psst... Don't miss the gorgeous details on Meghana's Muhurutham blouse.

Meet Meghana & Likhith

We met through a common friend at a gala event in 2015. We instantly got connected through our similar interests like we both are movie freaks , we love travelling and exploring new things . After all the texts and calls and quite a few meetings we finally started dating . We travelled to a lot of places together and everything seemed so new and beautiful with him around . I started to realise that he’s becoming an inseparable part of my life. We dated for almost 4 years when he finally proposed for the wedding in 2019 while we were touring Maldives . That was indeed the best day of my life and that very moment there was a loud yesss from my side. Our parents were more than happy to give their consent to the wedding . We decided to have the wedding in 2020 February which also marks 5 years of us being together .

The Engagement

The Wedding

From The Bride:

We both always wanted a lavish and royal wedding so called the big fat Indian wedding. We wanted a wedding which also depicts our rich culture since we had guests coming from all over the world . We had a fairy tale themed engagement with pastel elements like fairy lights , lanterns , chandeliers and crystals . Our sangeet was more of a Bollywood style . It’s was a fun filled night with a lot of dances , neon colours and other entertainments. Haldi and Mehendi was more of a traditional event . We had a traditional decor with bright and vibrant colours such as yellows , oranges and greens. We also had dhol , coloured smoke bombs and a lot of activities and fun games to lighten up the event . We chose royal blues and golds for the reception. We had a vintage car to drop us to the venue and a grand welcome which involved firecrackers and dances . The backdrop of the stage was filled with blue and gold curtains, blue , gold and red flowers and crystal chandeliers. Finally for the Muhurtham we chose royal traditional colours - gold and red . The Baraat was a huge procession led by dancers performing various forms of Indian dances . We had the mantap in the form of a temple gopuram with its architectural designs . We had huge elephants carved along the passage to welcome our guests. All the ceremonies and rituals was a combination of Telugu and Kannada traditions . All in all it was an extravagant yet royal and a beautiful wedding.
