Pretty Mumbai South-Indian Wedding With Silky Kanjeevarams!

A good mix of a Sabya lehenga with a bright orange Kanjeevaram sari - that's how modern South-Indian weddings work. Saudnya and Abhishek's wedding is all about that mix, and from tasteful silks to bold makeup to simple hair, it's as fun as they come. The floral wreath at the Reception was unique and the royal feels came from Ayush Resort at Panvel - so regal. Photography by WhatKnot Photography captured all the magic beautifully.
Meet Saudnya and Abhishek
"We first met when I was in 11th grade and he was a first-year engineering student, in a youth fest. We started dating about a year and a half after that and here we are," adds Saudnya.

From The Bride:
I had a great experience with Kajol. She was easy to work with, extremely professional, and gave me great looks for all of my events. Absolutely love her work! Team WhatKnot was friendly and professional and guided us through our couple shots very well. I feel they try to incorporate a lot of candids in their work, which I absolutely adore. Tanya Oak did my Sangeet gown and I was more than happy with how it turned out to be. Making clothes for a bride who lives abroad is sure not easy! We definitely faced some issues while trying to get everything in place for my outfit, like the fabric, the work, the fittings, etc., but the end results were stunning!!
Bride and Baraat managed all our events, and right from taking care of the guest-check ins to managing everything on the venue during all functions, these guys had it all under control. Their team was always accessible, easy to talk to, and very enthusiastic. Loved them!! Special thanks to Ishta and Monal! Absolutely love Almas Aunty's work for my Mehendi. Due to lack of time, my Mehendi was just a day before the wedding. In spite of that, the color was great. She made me a beautiful, intricate mehendi. Sneha and Runak took care of our Sangeet choreography. They are so much fun to be with, and I can't miss how beautifully they coordinated all the practice sessions. They sent out videos to our friends in the United States, who were to fly in later so that they could start practicing well in advance and it doesn't get too stressful for them at the last minute.
