When new ideas come into 2018 weddings, we're the first ones to do a cartwheel. Like this beauty which came with fun bride and groom cocktails and a custom-made Anamika Khanna dress alongside a kiddy colouring corner at the Mehendi. How cute! The bride who also owns her own label, Bhava and had her Chura dress made with her wedding hashtag on her pockets - super chic. The venue, Andaz By Hyatt was as slick as they come while photography byPicture Art Company★ 4.1 made everything look twice as glamorous.

The Wedding
From The Bride:
As for the Cocktail, the outfit was from Anita Dongre and the decor was by Rani Pink. It comes as no surprise to see what wonders this lady can do with the simplest of venues. Our bartender, Binny is famous to add a personalized touch to his drinks. He was perhaps the first few bartenders who introduced cocktails on the names of the couple and their families. How cool is that! We were too big on our initials being on the smallest of things. As you can see SK tag on the bar accessories as well. Thanks to our wedding planners, Shaadionline.
The Mehendi theme was like a pop-up. The decor has been done by Geeta Samuel, one of the best and oldest in her field. The hotel, we chose was Andaz by Hyatt. Our wedding hashtag was #sakiibomb and as you can see it's been incorporated almost everywhere. One thing that I planned was for parents at the mehendi to get a breather from their kids. Kids usually tend to get bored seeing so many functions. So we decided to have a kids corner filled with the air bubble toys or the wedding centric colouring pages or riddles again related to the wedding or the bioscopy machine. My outfit was a pop of colours by Anamika Khanna.
I am a designer and I make fusion wear for both men and women under my label, BHAVA (Insta handle: merabhava). If you see the Chura outfit I wore - that was designed by me and has my hashtag embroidered on both the pockets in my handwriting (my husband loves my handwriting!). My lehenga on the wedding day as is quite evident is from the boss himself, Sabyasachi. Being in the same industry as him, he's a god to me. I literally took five minutes to decide this outfit. I paired it up with the ever so dramatic, Louboutin heels. My make up artist was Leiya Phinao and she came recommended by Sonic. She gave me an earthy look for the wedding and a dramatic bold one on the Engagement.
I love what you guys do at WMG. As a matter of fact, all the planning of my wedding no matter how small or big, I started to research on the website only. Starting from the makeup artist I wanted to hire to the company who designed cards for us or any decor related inspiration that we wanted - it was all on WMG.
