Palak & Aditya's Muscat wedding was full of gorgeous outfits, bookmark-worthy looks and unique themes & decor. It had the love, the drama, emotions and everything else that made it a perfect Bollywood Blockbuster! Knowing each other since school days; to best friends and finding love in this friendship, Palak & Aditya's wedding celebrations were avant-garde, chic and contemporary. Planned effortlessly by Momente Wedding Planners , this was a celebration unlike any other.
Meet Palak & Aditya
The Arabic Souk Mehendi
The decor was themed based on the middle east market vibes with a lot of vibrant colours of fabrics and rugs. The evening set in motion with DJ Aman followed by other entertainment acts. The couple made their entry with a LED Tanoura dancer. Samir Tanna and his team recreated the Gujarati mood with the Garba music with family performances which then turned into a Sufi evening with singer Adil Hussaini. A gifting corner set up for guests to pick up assorted Attar fragrances and Bakhoor sets. The party continued and moved indoors into the After Party! Palak got customised sweatshirts for all the youngsters, preplaced in their rooms during the Mehendi event. The couple wanted a chill party feel and wanted a space to laze and party at the same time grooving to DJ Aman's music.
The Haldi & Beach Party
Haldi turned out to be messy but at the same time an adorable affair with all the friends and family members coloured in yellow as if they'd all just played Holi. It was a quick switch between the Haldi & Beach Party. The Beach Party was a recreation of the European beach vibe. The entertainment was all set with DJ Aman and his team and a Mentalist and Mime artists to interact with the guests. A station with portable mobile fans, an assortment of hats for men and women and a beat the heat corner with sunscreen and aloe vera for everyone.
The Wedding
The Baraat was a fun affair, with the DJ and Dholwalas and Aditya arrived in a magnificent vintage car. The varmala was a pictorial location overlooking the sea. As Aditya waits for Palak who walks down under a floral umbrella accompanied by her brothers followed by a beautiful petal shower as Aditya and Palak exchange the varmalas. A beautiful sunset beach wedding with the sea as the backdrop was a mix of floral and dried pampas and looked surreal. With Aditya waiting at the mandap, Palak walked down the aisle with her father by her side and Vedic chanters adding up the traditional feel. The enchanting ringing of bells by the guests added a notion of blessings to the beautiful now married couple.
From The Planners:
We had the most fantastic time planning Palak and Aditya's wedding. The couple wanted fun elements in the wedding and they were absolutely open to different ideas and suggestions. It felt like we were planning a wedding for our family member. The flow of ideas and execution was excellent and it showed at the wedding in each and every function. Each event had a distinct style & flavour of its own from the Arabic Souk to the Mykonos themed beach party to a Western-style five-course Sit-down dinner. The entire family was a pleasure to work with it & I can say it was one of the most fun weddings we have planned.
