Meet Humera & Naseer
"Our families have known each other since we were young; we were friends but never imagined we will fall in love as our paths were different. We grew up with not much contact as I went to study in Sydney- Australia and Humera continued to complete her studies in Bahrain. However it all started when her family came on a vacation to Australia and I became the harry from #JHMS for the family, took them all over Australia and we fell in love" explains Naseer.
From The Bride & Groom:
"We wanted to have a very Nawabi-themed wedding hence the place of our choice was Chowmahalla palace. It was a gold/black colour combination with bride and groom wearing golden colours and the relatives wore black sherwanis with gold turbans. The stage was set with minimal decorations to bring the palace background to its life" explains Naseer.
"I envisioned myself to be a golden bride hence I went with the golden colour for my dress and not the traditional red. We browsed through many mainstream designers from Manish Malhotra to Rohit Bal. We zeroed in on Sabyasachi as my choice for my wedding dress as it brought out the elegance and panache that I was looking for. The jewellery was kept simple as the wedding dress was quite heavy itself so I contrasted the dress with a modern emerald diamond choker and satlada and a traditional matha patti," adds Humera.
"WedMeGood in a way did inspire me as I have always found myself browsing though WedMeGood Instagram page," says Humera.
