The Wedding
From the bride Ridhi: Our vision was clear, we wanted one function but something that we and our guests would enjoy and remember. So we decided to go for a wedding and reception combined in one day instead of a 3-5 day wedding affair . It was a sundowner which probably went on till sunrise. We had our pheras at 6 in the evening, and then the reception continued until the wee hours of the night. Our venue was actually my fiance's house which was the perfect backdrop .
This wedding was a bit different from other weddings -there was no baarat and no doli. We just wanted a chilled out atmosphere minus the formailities . In ter We were really specific with who we wanted for food, music and ofcourse the decor. We went for a subtle tone for our wedding decor in colors of gold, creams and white , and we interspersed them with oversized props to give it that royal , opulent look.
