The best thing about destination weddings is the attention to detail in terms of outfits. From the glam cocktail gowns that mirror the destination to the soft Mehendi looks that are so Instagram-able, there is so much inspiration around. The bride Ritika was as honest as it gets as she moves from stellar cocktail gowns to traditional reds so beautifully, it's stunning. The venue, Alila Diwa kept it pretty while Photography by Paran Singh Photography showcased all the beauty in the most candid way possible.

"We met at school through common friends, stayed in touch through different countries, and eventually fell in love recently," says Ritika.

From The Bride:
The destination wedding took place in the beautiful resort of Alila Diwa Goa. We had mehndi during the day, followed by a cocktail in the evening on day one and a Haldi during the day, followed by Wedding in the evening on day two. The reception took place in our hometown, Ludhiana (Punjab). It was a private affair, and everything was perfect.
I have a lot of thoughts on my vendors who made it all happen. I feel its one of the most important decisions of your wedding to choose the right MUA. No matter how good or expensive your attires are, if the MUA cannot compliment it with the right look, its all a waste. Sukanya was extremely approachable, friendly and very professional. The smoky eye look with nude lips was super fab and my favourite!
Alila Diwa Goa is beyond perfect for a wedding. Not only this place is beautiful, contemporary, traditional and gives out warm and positive vibes, the staff and wedding crew is outstanding. And I, as a bride, was super impressed by the professionalism, and of course the hospitality. Best decision ever!
Team Diakon events was a dream team to work with. I think one of my best decisions was to hire them to handle my wedding. Extremely professional, transparent, patient and perfectionists. My budget was always limited, something I had informed them as soon as we started discussing on the wedding details. They delivered the best in my budget and added some elements here and there on their own to add on to the decor and other preparations. Everything was delivered just as discussed. I was so calm at my wedding, and mainly because I had nothing to worry about, everything was taken up by this team and everything was on time. All in all, i think i couldnt have asked for a better team and they had a HUGE role to play in making my wedding a perfect dream wedding.
Paran Singh Photography, their work is brilliant. I had seen the work he had done for a friend's wedding. That, and the WMG reviews, together helped me made my mind on this. These guys are warm, yet very professional and dedicated to their job. I would imagine anyone else to make my husband comfortable with getting clicked.
As for my outfits, Asiana Couture had many things going for it and some, not very great. Quality was great and delivery was on time. The lehenga was ready with perfect fit on the date of delivery and they probably have the best variety of good quality lehengas you will find in Chandni Chowk. But there were a few things that niggled me. They were arrogant and will make you feel cheap for leaving a lehenga because its out of your budget. And a tad overpriced. Their lehengas start from one lakh, even for basic ones.
That said, I was super relaxed (unlike my usual self), and enjoyed the wedding to the fullest myself. Everyone was so happy, and that reflects in the pictures as well. All in all it was a very happy vibe wedding.
