If you tell us that as a young girl, you never yearned to wear your mother's wedding lehenga, we'll have a hard time believing you! Pulling it out of her closet, draping it imperfectly and posing in front of the mirror while dreaming of the big day - haven't we all been there? Oh boy... those memories are still fresh. Love how so many neo brides are taking forward these warm sentiments and re-wearing their mother's wedding outfit for their own celebrations!
One wedding lehenga, two generations!
This beautiful tribute to their mums definitely tugged at our heartstrings, and when we bumped into Siya's caption (that said), "Swipe to see my beautiful mom twinning with me in 1990," we were overjoyed to witness the way she included this heirloom piece to create a beautiful, unique bridal look.
Almost Identical
She wore a rani pink lehenga with gotta patti work and teamed it with a dupatta with fringe details! Her look boasted of a surreal, vintage charm and her gleaming portraits are a testimony of how special it felt to her.
Styling twist
The only neo spin she gave to the look was with her bridal jewellery, where she added a pop of green with an emerald set. We love!
