Sometimes, all you need for a beautiful wedding is sunny colors, gorgeous smiles and photos that emanate love! There are so many things we absolutely loved about Ankita and Ryan's very very Punjabi wedding - right from the smiles of all their friends to the fun rituals they followed. The white boys also got their Mehendi done and smiled as they sat under the kaleere - it sure is a fun wedding captured to perfection by Shiv Sharma Photography .
Meet Ankita & Ryan
"We met in grad school while pursuing our Masters in Architecture and Urban Design. But did not start dating until a few months after we graduated. Most of our friends swear that they saw it coming! During the time we were dating, we lived across the country for a year and then across the world (Delhi–New York) for another 6 months. It’s been a roller-coaster ride for us to get here, but it was worth every bit!" adds Ankita.

The Wedding
From The Bride:
"Our wedding incorporated bringing two different cultures together. I wanted to make sure that I could introduce Ryan and his family to all meaningful Indian traditions I grew up witnessing. This wedding was one huge DIY. From the invites, to our outfits, the decorations to the wedding favours, it was all put together by family, friends and us. Weddings have the true capability of bringing together all you family and friends at one place and towards one cause" explains Ankita.
