From The Bride:
We wanted the wedding to be a grand celebration and we opted for a Mughal theme for the main wedding dinner. We researched a lot and saw that Rajput royal style was very common at palace hotels and we wanted to be more unique so that's why went for a Mughal theme. For the mehendi, the decor style was morroccan(white and blue). For the sangeet, we went for a liquid gold/crystals theme - more broadway style.
Vendor Reviews:
Decor & Planner: Aasan Eventos
We hired Aasan Eventos for our decor and hospitality. Though a fairly new company, Aakash and his team blew our socks off with their decor standards. He made us feel very comfortable during the entire process and he made my dream wedding come true. Their team worked night and day to create the Grand Mughal Stage just like the one shown in the Padmaavat movie. They even printed our wedding logo on draperies and linens. Its their attention to detail that really impressed us. I would highly recommend the.
Venue: ITC Grand Bharat
We would highly recommend the hospitality team at the hotel. ITC is known for their food and beverage, but they went above and beyond our expectations.
Makeup Artist: Sakshi Sood
Sakshi is the sweetest! She understood my need for minimal yet glamorous looks and made me look gorgeous!
Photographer: Ombre By Harsheen Jammu
After talking to many photographers, we finally went for Ombre By Harsheen Jammu and boy were we impressed. Harsheen and her team captured our wedding beautifully. They were really sweet to me during the wedding and made sure I was enjoying myself as well. The pictures came out great and the same day video was absolutely stunning.
Bridal Outfits: Mehendi - Varun and Nidhika
Varun is a great guy. He custom made my lehenga. He understood what I wanted exactly and created sketches for me. As I was in Canada, it was really tough for me to see the progress, but varun made sure he sent me embroidery samples. He would do regular video calls to show me how the lehenga was coming along.
Bridal Outfits: Wedding - Ameeran Design
Ashish from Ameeran has been the star vendor of my wedding. He not only created my beautiful wedding lehenga, he created numerous outfits for my family; he even designed the decor for all my events
Mehendi Artist: Alankrita By Raashi
Rashi and Bhavya are a great team. They were very accommodating and I loved the mughal motifs she created for me :)
Caterers: Kitchen Kraft
They were amazing! They set up the Chaat counters and did all the catering for my home functions. I haven't heard so many compliments regarding the food. The food was really delicious and I'd love if you could add them to the post.
