Colorful Delhi Wedding With A Bride in Red!

This has got to be the simplest red bridal lehenga we have ever laid our eyes on. The gold and red lehenga with minimal embroideries and embellishments is proof that you don't need to be drowning in an ocean of gold embroidery to look amazing. We also loved the mint Mehendi outfit, the unconventional sharara and crop top. The venue, Amaara Farms created an ideal atmosphere while Photographer and Videographers, Fotowalle - The Story Folks made sure every beautiful moment was highlighted!
Meet Sonal & Shiva
"Shiva and I met a common friend's pre wedding pajama party. He was wearing spongebob pajamas and I was in family guy :) He had flown in for a week from London for the wedding and we bonded," says Sonal.
The Mehendi
The Wedding
From The Bride:
"Being an interior designer myself, I knew I would be very picky for my own wedding. A perk of working in this space is that I knew from the very beginning whom all I would like to design for my wedding.
I was working on the space design for the launch of The Food Affairs (Catering company by Sarita Bazaz) and had the chance to meet Abhinav there. I saw his work and was completely sold. I did not even care to meet any other decorator for my wedding. I was very clear about the colour palettes I wanted as well as using elements that are not cliched. Abhinav helped develop elements such as dream catchers and origami birds for the mehendi. For the wedding I always wanted to use Picchwais as I absolutely love them and who better than Abhinav to weave that the most aesthetic way. He created a visual marvel. Shiva and I did not want a stage for the wedding reception, hence we decorated two giant trees with lights and flowers and converted it into a reception stage. It doubled as a stunning photo booth as well! For the wedding invite, my only go to person was Diksha Mehta Invites. She truly is the best and went all the way to deliver what we wanted!! Her work is exemplary and she is the nicest person to work with :)" explains Sonal.
"As far as our photographers, Fotowalle is concerned, these guys were amazing to work with. They were easy to talk to and they really understood what Shiva and I envisioned. The wedding trailer was beyond our expectations and truly blew us away. What makes them truly wonderful? All the edits and changes after the wedding that I needed were done without any hassles and graciously delivered. We also became such great friends and now they are shooting another wedding in my family. Hire them guys, they are awesome!" exclaims Sonal.
