Of course, we are suckers for a pastel wedding by the lake and this beautiful wedding from Chandigarh delivered just that. From the graceful lehenga to the floral decor - we also loved how the couple matched each other in pastels and the phoolon ka chaddar was as pretty as can be with white flowers against the pink decor background. The venues, Forest Hill Resort and The Palms gave it that magical vibe while photography by Artcapture Productions kept it simple and effortless!

The Wedding
From The Bride:
I ordered my bridal lehenga from Frontier Raas at South Ex after exploring the entire Delhi market. I found the perfect color in one lehenga and liked the work in another. After trying it on with the jewelry I decided to have it customized soon and I had the perfect fitting and looked gorgeous.
Om Prakash Jawahar Lal wasn't a place I was impressed with. My In-laws bought the sangeet lehenga from there and was truly very pretty. However there customer service, not so good. I bought my trousseau Anarkali from there. Even though they have some very nice pieces, the customer service is pretty bad.
Ameeran had some really really pretty designs.Their stuff is different with very pretty heavy suits and shararas. It's a bit on the expensive side, but I splurged because it's my trousseau!! The designer Ashish is really sweet and is willing to customize and make changes to the outfit making it heavier or lighter.
As for my makeup, I visited Zareen and she asked me what type of a look I had in mind, my skin type etc. Followed by a very elaborate trial since I was confused if I should get HD or Airbrush Makeup. She even showed me the various lashes she had in case I wanted a trial. The best part about Zareen is that she is patient and listens to what kind of a look you would want. I was certain I wanted minimalist makeup for my day wedding and she did a wonderful job! I was worried if a smoky eye would suit me, and she made me look terrific on the sangeet as well.
Regarding the decor, I had lots of ideas in mind, lots of saved pins from Pinterest. So thank you for The Wedding Tree for making all my crazy ideas possible with a colorful and vibrant Mehendi decor to a classy pastel wedding with all the intricate details asked. They listened in detail to all my requests which resulted in the wedding being spectacular.
I bought some of my and moms jewelry from Veeni Jewels, Delhi. They have some wonderful designs and customize according to design and price range. Harveen Aunty has a great deal of knowledge and helped us choose and mix and match stuff. The entire family has a passion for design with tons of creativity.
Above all, we loved the venue, Forest Hill Resorts. I had my wedding in a lush green golf course with a lake in front and surrounded by hills. Couldn't have wished for a better place!
