There's something about Goa weddings. They are bright, beautiful and full of joie de vivre. This one was all that and more! So you can only imagine how picture perfect everything must have been. Planned immaculately by Events by Krunal Parekh with a lot of statement décor elements, fun games and all heart, this shaadi was nothing less than a Carnival of sorts. And guess what? They even had a Carnival-themed Mehendi function that screamed aesthetics. All the other ceremonies also had some awe-inspiring décor. Not to mention, the bride and groom made some great sartorial choices for all the events.
Meet Aayushi & Kishan
Some stories are written in the stars - just like this one. The two of them stayed in the same residential society and happened to meet each other for the first time while playing. Little did they know then that they will end up finding their soulmates in each other and tie the knot several years down the line.
Haldi
The Haldi was a simple affair attended by the couple's close friends and family. But it had many Insta-worthy décor elements like Portuguese Azulejos backdrop in hues of blue and white, ceramic pots, teepee tents with cute cushions and more.
Sangeet
Aayushi and Kishan had a movie-themed grand Sangeet with photo booths featuring some movie posters in black-and-white, disco balls, and more. The roof of the venue was adorned by several super pretty chandeliers that added even more glamour to the overall great setup.
Mehendi (Carnival)
Sunshine, bright hues and a lot of fun - the Mehendi ceremony checked off all the pre-requisites of a perfect carnival in a lawn overlooking the sea.
Wedding
It was a sundowner wedding with a beautiful mandap and the bride dazzled in an offbeat red lehenga. She also had the date of their wedding embroidered on her bridal veil.
From The Bride:
We hosted our wedding festivities on 29th and 30th November, 2021 in Goa. I wore Sahiba Arora for my Haldi, the details of shells on my outfit were jaw-dropping. I wore her outfit for the Carnival too, she is brilliant with her work and has a keen eye for details. For my Sangeet, I opted for Gaurav Gupta, his work and sense of structure is so different. I loved it. Finally, for my wedding, I chose a Falguni Shane Peacock outfit. It totally matched my personality. I am a very fusion kind of a person and my lehenga did describe me. Kishan went for Raghavendra Rathod for all the events, the fittings and beautiful fabrics were like the cherry on top.
Vendor Reviews
Wedding Planning: Events By Krunal Parek
Krunal and his team were gems when it comes to our wedding and now, they are dear friends to us. They have managed our wedding very nicely and beautifully in a very personalized way.
Venue: The Grand Hyatt, Goa
It is a really beautiful destination to get married. There were a lot of elements that somehow had a connection with our relationship. Our first date was under a banyan tree and guess what? There was one right in the center of lawns. Also, the architecture is a lot akin to my my personality and the openness of the property describes a lot about the space and love in our relationship.

They were great and were so engaged.
Makeup: Meera Sakhrani
She did a great job overall, but she could have done better for my carnival look.
Bridal Mehendi: Krishna Mehandi
They are from Ahmedabad and are very creative as they suggested me to put my very personal monogram on my hands and it turned out so well. I loved my mehendi as it was very intricate and fine.
