Pastels and minimalist bridal looks are trending like never before, and here is a bride who absolutely knocked it out of the park with her all-pastel look. Her gorgeous lehenga in blush pink paired with the open hair and subtle, glamourous makeup are a definite inspiration for any 2023 bride-to-be. Athena and Thomas' Jaipur wedding had a regal charm about it which was not over the top, which was honestly very refreshing! Every event had a theme, which made it stand out. Meet Athena and Thomas
Thomas and I met on Hinge (dating app). We spoke on the phone for a few weeks (first via text and then through calls) and it was obvious we had an instant connection. For our first date, we went ice skating at Winter Wonderland in London and it was super romantic. I think we both instantly feel for one another and haven't looked back since.

From The Bride:
Our wedding took place on 27th and 28th October 2022. Each of our wedding events had very different themes and we wanted to ensure that our decor remained true to each of these themes. Our key criteria was also to have all our events outdoors and make the most of the gorgeous venue (The Raj Palace).
Our first event was the haldi and the theme was Jaipur Blue Pottery, so think lots of blues with accents of yellow. We asked all our guests to wear yellow, whilst we wore blue and white. The contrast looked gorgeous!
Our second event was an evening Mehendi and the theme was mela. We had a full fairground canopy, games, live bangle making station, a puppet show, tarot card reader and of course henna artists. To bring it all together, the food was typical street food you would see at a mela.
The next event was the actual wedding followed by a sit down lunch. The theme for this was Bridgerton, with a very pastel led minimalist decor, hanging wisteria and lots of foliage.
Finally, our last event was the evening Sangeet and the theme was Arabian nights. Each of the events were unique in their own way and reflected our vision and personalities.
About WedMeGood
Yes. We got loads of good ideas for up and coming designers. For example, we found Agunj via WedMeGood and found the perfect Mehendi outfit because I was not loving the maintsream designers for my Mehendi. Its a great app to find unusual vendors and ideas for a truly unique wedding!
Vendor Reviews
Venue: The Raj Palace
Excellent heritage property that was truly evocative of a royal era. The perfect setting for our wedding!
Makeup Artist: Pooja Khurana
Possibly one of the best make up artists in India, Pooja and her team fully understood my vision, were not over the top in their approach and made me look the best I ever have. The make up was impactful whilst still looking soft and subtle, just like I had imagined!
Photography: ShutterDown Photography
The Shutterdown team has been my dream photography team since 2018. I met them at a friend’s wedding and even though I had no groom yet, I already knew Lakshya and his team would be my photographers. I’m sure I’ll include you guys in all my special moments, save a space in your diary for my baby shower booking!
