Now this one here is a beautiful, wholesome wedding at a venue which is gorgeous! The venue was one of a kind, which is also where Alana Pandey did her photoshoot with her husband. The sand castle in the backdrop did not need a lot more to make it look gorgeous, and we love how the couple kept the decor at their Tamil Brahmin wedding understated to highlight the beauty of their surroundings. With the bride in New York and the groom in London, Yamini and Shashanth managed to pull off an elegant wedding, with pretty outfits and a very unique vibe.
P.S. The couple have quite the Bollywood love story!
Meet Yamini and Shashanth
We met because our siblings were getting married - classic, right? We hung out a lot during the wedding planning, mostly because we had nothing else to do. Lots of movies, trying new restaurants, and zipping around Chennai on a two-wheeler. The funny thing is, we started off thinking these hangouts were obligatory, but soon realized we actually enjoyed each other's company. Even though he was studying in Spain and I was in Bangalore, we kept in touch after our siblings' wedding. The turning point came about 6 months after our siblings' wedding when we met up in Goa. Away from family and wedding chaos, we finally had time to really connect. It was during those few days that we realized there might be something more between us. Interestingly, we weren't as discreet as we thought. Several guests at our siblings' wedding later asked my parents if there was something going on between Shashanth and me. Some even placed bets on whether we'd end up together! Guess we were the last to know what everyone else saw coming.

From The Bride
Our wedding took place on February 21, 2024. Our wedding was a celebration of uniqueness and personal touches. From the outset, I envisioned each event as a distinct experience, carefully curating everything from attire and jewelry to the venue itself. I wanted to create something truly extraordinary, unlike anything I'd seen before.
We chose a breathtaking venue in Rajasthan - a sand fort surrounded by natural beauty, complete with flowers, peacocks, and a nearby lake. Rather than overwhelming this stunning backdrop with excessive decor, I opted for a light, simple approach that accentuated the venue's inherent charm.
The wedding ceremony itself was the pinnacle of my vision. As Tamilians, we wanted to infuse our South Indian heritage into the Rajasthani setting. I was determined to transport our guests to a traditional Tamil wedding, incorporating elements like coconuts and bananas. Most importantly, I wanted to create a multi-sensory experience, with the fragrance of jasmine - a quintessential Tamil flower - becoming the signature scent of our celebration. My goal was for this aroma to forever remind our guests of our special day.

Makeup Artist: Manudheeraj
Choosing Manudheeraj as my makeup artist was a decision based on a trusted recommendation, and it proved to be an excellent choice. Despite only meeting him in person on my wedding day, we had extensive phone conversations beforehand, discussing every little detail of my bridal look. Manudheeraj's attention to detail is truly extraordinary. His team, which included hair artists, a saree draping expert, and a content creator, worked together seamlessly to ensure I was ready for each event on time. They left no stone unturned in perfecting my appearance. What impressed me most was Manudheeraj's creativity. He suggested looks that perfectly complemented my outfits, showing a keen eye for style and cohesion. I felt confident putting my trust in his artistic vision, and he didn't disappoint. The entire team's professionalism and efficiency were remarkable. They managed to create stunning looks while keeping to our tight schedule, which is crucial on a busy wedding day. Although our in-person interaction was limited to the wedding day itself, Manudheeraj and his team made me feel completely at ease. Their expertise and friendly demeanor helped calm any pre-wedding jitters, allowing me to truly enjoy the process of getting ready for my big day. In retrospect, choosing Manudheeraj was one of the best decisions I made for my wedding. His artistry, combined with his team's skills, ensured I looked and felt my absolute best throughout all the celebrations.

We chose Delhi Velvet as our wedding photographers because they're great at capturing candid moments. Their creative style really stood out to us. The team, led by Divishth Kakkar, did an amazing job at all our events. They didn't just take photos – they really caught the feel of each moment. I especially want to mention Nikhil, the lead photographer. He's incredibly knowledgeable and gave me fantastic advice on how to pose for pictures. His tips really helped me feel more confident in front of the camera. I loved how the whole team came up with fun ideas for our couple shots. They kept things interesting and made us feel comfortable throughout the process. The Delhi Velvet team was very professional. They knew what they were doing and worked hard to get great photos. I trusted them completely with capturing our special day, and I'm so glad I did. The photos turned out even better than I hoped. They gave us beautiful memories that we'll always cherish.
Decor: Timoniyo
When it comes to wedding decor, Timoniyo, run by the dynamic duo Aditi and Garima, is a force to be reckoned with. I discovered this gem of a design company while scrolling through Instagram, and I was instantly captivated by their work. In fact, I knew I wanted to collaborate with them even before we had finalized our venue! What sets Timoniyo apart is not just their creative prowess, but their comprehensive understanding of the wedding industry. They went above and beyond their role as decorators, offering invaluable assistance throughout our wedding planning process. Aditi and Garima's professionalism is unparalleled. Their communication was consistently clear and prompt, ensuring we were always on the same page. But what truly amazed me was their ability to take our vision and transform it into reality. The execution was flawless, exceeding our expectations in every way. The impact of their work was evident in the reactions of our guests. The decor became a talking point of the wedding, with attendees raving about the beautiful settings Timoniyo had created.
