With almost every groom's look blending into the crowd with the fail-safe ivory sherwani, Actor Pulkit Samrat's wedding attire was a breath of fresh air, breaking all the stereotypes. His vibrant hues and unconventional choices captivated us instantly. From a quirky haldi kurta to an olive green wedding ensemble, his style guide is a must-save for grooms looking to experiment and make a statement with their wedding attire. Scroll down as we break down all the elements we adored about his looks.
Look 1: Wedding
"Despite the absence of a set venue or date, I was unequivocally certain about one thing: my wedding attire would be crafted by the incomparable Anamika Khanna. Our adventure began in the opulent Anamika Khanna Mumbai store, amidst the men’s section, but it was in the women’s section where we found our muse—a stunning piece of embroidery that captured my heart and set the theme for my wedding ensemble." says Pulkit
Isn't this look just perfect? The unique combination of olive and pink, accented by a gorgeous pearl and kundan necklace, and embroidered with the Gayatri mantra—truly represents the epitome of groom's fashion!
Look 2: Mehendi
"For the Mehendi ceremony, Faraz Manan was the clear choice. Despite his hectic schedule and the collection still being under development, Faraz crafted a breathtaking olive green outfit for me, allowing me to be the first to showcase his new collection. His dedication was a gift I couldn’t have been more grateful for." -says Pulkit
While everyone typically eyes the bride's accessories, we couldn't help but notice Pulkit's ear cuffs and the gajra that elevated his look to the next level.
Look 3: Haldi
"Anamika Khanna didn’t just stop with the wedding outfit; she designed my haldi and both my grah pravesh outfits, sealing my admiration for her forever." -shares Pulkit
We're loving the vibrant, life-size print on the kurta paired with those straight-striped pants. It's such a refreshing departure from the usual plain yellow kurta that grooms go for.
Look 4: Cocktail / Sangeet
"As the wedding approached, the need for a Cocktail/Sangeet outfit became urgent. With just a week to spare, we were struggling to find someone who could encapsulate the essence of “shimmer” I desired. It was then that I was introduced to Rahul Mishra and I was adorned in an outfit that radiated shimmer and elegance, surpassing all expectations." -shares Pulkit
We're loving how Pulkit didn't hold back on the bling and totally rocked that bandhgala, looking incredibly dapper.
