Somehow, we have a thing for the hills and this pretty wedding had so many enviable details that we are loving it from day one. From the fun bridesmaid shoot at the Mehendi to the sweet mandap by the hills and the brides pretty in peach outfit. While Hotel Savoy and JW Marriott in Mussorie made for a great backdrop, the photographers at Shutterdown - Lakshya Chawla made sure the candid moments were perfect all through!

The Wedding
From The Bride:
It was a 3-day winter wedding in Mussoorie. And my aim was to make these 3-days full of energy and entertainment as I planned to dance on all of my events. I wanted to be that happy, dancing bride.
To kick start the events we had Tarkash Band playing for us on the first day. The second day we had the Mehendi carnival with lots of activities and a fun Sangeet in the evening. The next day was the Wedding followed by a Reception and we had Jasleen Royale playing for us to give a smooth end to the whole three days of madness.
As a bride-to-be, I had to pick different looks and colours for each event. The vibe and feeling of each event was different and I wanted to wear different colours in each of them. Bollywood night had to be full of energy and I picked up a red gown for it. And Mehendi, being festive I wanted traditional colours for it so I went with a yellow and pink combination. And for the Sangeet, I wanted to experiment with the colours so I picked up an unusual combination. And for the wedding day, I wanted a pastel shade as it was an outdoor day event in Mussorrie.
The choice of outfits was essentially inspired by my personal taste- vibrant with minimal bling and all my outfits were made keeping one thing in mind - I need to wear them again and again.
