Quick- what's the first thing that comes to mind when you think Indian wedding? Marigolds? Parandis? Haldi Yellow? Vermilion? Well, you pretty much summed up this lovely affair in a few words. Right from the Mehendi set-up to wedding, the bride was dressed in the best of bright hues. We loved so many things about this wedding - mainly the jhoola at the Mehendi bedecked to perfection and the glam portrait shots taken by ace photographer Avnish Dhoundiyal Photography .
The Mehendi
The Wedding
From The Bride:
"We wanted all the pre-wedding functions to be fun and that’s what came out in our outfits, the decor, the photos etc. But we wanted the wedding day to be traditional and simple. Our vedi was a typical Indian vedi with Rajnigandha and touches of pink in the flowers. The stage was a beautiful lotus theme. I think what really brought life to all our functions was the presence of our family & friends and the joy in everyone's faces (especially our grandparents). We also tried involving all our friends and family so it was special for everyone :) It was exactly what we wanted our wedding to be - fun with lots of special memories that we will cherish forever" adds Namrata.
