Charming Wedding At Tijara Fort With A Bride Who Made Some Smart Bridal Choices

BY Sakshi | 04 Aug, 2023 | 1576 views | 3 min read

Here is a bride who not only loves to shop (who doesn't!), but is a smart one at it! Real Bride Shyna wowed us with her bridal style and choices, and we love the little tip or two she has for other brides as well- saving her some big bucks while looking elegant! From picking outfits from Pakistani designers to getting lab-made polki, Shyna made some rather offbeat but amazing decisions for her dream wedding at Tijara Fort. Take a look for yourself!

Meet Shyna and Ankit

We met in school but we started dated in college. It’s a really long story but the gist is that whatever is meant to be will find it’s way and happen no matter what.

From The Bride:

Our wedding took place on December 12, 2022.

I always said to my father and my husband that I want to get married in a fort or court nothing in between and fortunately my wish came true when I saw Tijara. I wanted the decor to be minimal yet elegant. My wedding cards were also customised with the background of my venue.

I walked down the aisle with my brothers dressed in same outfits, shopping was really fun because I got to explore the beautiful work of Pakistani designers. I have so much for my trousseau and I even wore my mehendi outfit from a Pakistani designer. I got just heavy and intricate work for a good price. For my wedding jewellery I chose polki from Vivek Ladha, Jaipur. The collection he has was beautiful and he was so understanding with the delivery of the jewellery and customisation. I wore two different naths during my wedding the first one was from Sabyasachi because I always wanted to wear some sabya jewellery and the second nath I wore was my traditional pahadi nath. I save some money opting for some mossanite polki gold plated silver jewellery like my tikka, one pair of bangles. So I saved quiet a lot by not spending on things which are not so frequently used.

Vendor Reviews

Venue: Tijara Fort

It is the most beautiful budget friendly property I saw during my research. The property is amazing and Neemrana has really good food too. So it was the best option for luxury, quality and views. Oh the views were absolutely to die for. The sunset is so good.

Makeup Artist: Gomit Chopra

I chose Gomit Chopra because he was in my budget and I quiet liked his work too but the disappointment thing was he never posted any of my photos on his page which I was expecting and I even messaged him a lot about it.

Photography: Gautam Khullar Photography

I chose Gautam Khullar, his work was good but again the services were adequate.

Bridal Mehendi: Sona Mistry

For my Mehendi I chose Sona Mistry and that was one of my best decision for my whole wedding. The intricacy, the work everything was so damn beautiful I cannot even express it. She was the best person for the type of Mehendi I wanted. Would definitely choose her again in some event.
