Lavender is an extremely underrated hue- it sort of hides in the shadow of pink, but on it's own it's a fabulous shade for a bride. Here is a bride who wore the most gorgeous lavender lehenga for her beautiful vineyard wedding, and we loved how the groom coordinated beautifully with her in a shade of soft grey. Guneet and Hirdeyjot's wedding was about all things beautiful, and translated magically on the lens! Check it out for yourself.
Meet Guneet and Hirdeyjot
My Husband and I both met in California. We had a lot of common friends but we never spoke to each other, we just had each added on socials. Then randomly one day he reacted to a story of mine on Instagram, and we both started talking and there was no looking back, the connection was instant. We lived four hours apart, he was in the Bay Area and I was in the southern part of California. We would meet half way and chat for hours without realizing it. It was so natural and smooth. He became my go to person. The best part of the whole dating and marrying process was that it was not at all dramatic or problematic. We are blessed with the most open minded and supportive families.
Wedding
From The Bride:
The wedding was on 19th March 2022. We wanted an outdoor wedding from the get go. Tons of flowers, in a vineyard, with a lot of scenic beauty and definitely in spring for the full bloom effect. The colors we chose were lavender pink and midnight grey because we wanted to be in sync but not fully co-ordinated. Our photography team and us wanted very regal looking poses, so we opted for very intense straight faces. But we would end up goofing around here and there.

Vendor Reviews
Bridal Outfit: Manish Malhotra
I feel like anything I will say won't be enough at how beautiful his work is. The team at his flagship store are delightful. It was a surreal experience, trying on my lehngas the first time.
Groomwear: Jatin Malik
Hirdey is very mindful of details when it comes to his outfits. The team at Jatin Malik were very efficient and understood what he was looking for right away. They customized the floral motifs on his sherwani to match my lehnga and that little detail made such a difference. The outfit fit him like a glove.
Venue: The Nirvana Estate
It is a beautiful venue inspired by Tuscan landscape and architecture. There are stunning trees of olive, cypress and lemon all around the property that give it a very Italian feel. The owners are very kind and warm. They accommodated all our needs without any hesitation.
Makeup Artist: Aman Varaich (@varaichvanity)
Aman has a heart of gold. She has such a calming and loving demeanor and that is exactly what you need on your wedding morning. She was so patient and listened to all the ideas I had in mind along with giving me the best advice through all her experience. I didn't want to go for a traditional bun so we opted for an old Hollywood ponytail and it turned out stunning. The makeup was just perfect. I felt my prettiest self that day.
Wedding Planning: Colleen Bauer (@fairygodmotherinc)
Colleen has such as apt name for her self, she really is my fairy god mother. Colleen and her team made sure that every single detail on the wedding day was on point. They made sure it was a smooth sailing event and thankfully it really was.
Photography: Vijay (@weddingdocumentry)
Vijay is the epitome of creativity and patience. From his style of photography one can really judge that he loves what he does because it reflects in his work. He gave us such beautiful and pristine memories that we will get to enjoy forever.
Decor: Juanita from Party Fiesta Rentals
Juanita is a Latina woman and I was worried that because of the difference in cultures we may have some hiccups. But I was so pleasantly surprised when I saw all her ideas and vision. She brought in the finest touches and she calmed my nerves at every step.
Mehendi Artist: Harpreet Johal (@johalhenna)
My mehndi took around 5.5 hours and Harpreet made me giggle throughout. She is such a humble and genuine woman. Her work is so finely detailed. I wanted elephants and peacocks and she designed them stunningly.
DJs: @dj_sim_3 and @deejay_n_s_h
The best djs I have ever met. The dance floor wasn't empty for a single second. They took care of lighting, stages and everything in between.
