Now here is a bride who had the freshest, simplest bridal style we've seen in a while! Meghna Goyal, the founder of conscious clothing label 'Summer Somewhere' got married amidst beautiful simplicity in Mumbai, and her wedding was seriously refreshing! She got hitched to New York-based tech entrepreneur Karan Soman, and there were so many things about this wedding that we are loving- from her simple bridal style with the modern draped red saree to her open hair and gorgeous repurposed heirloom jewellery- everything was so breezy and beautiful! House On The Clouds as usual did a fabulous job with the photography, and the images do full justice to the beauty of the nuptials.
P.S. Don't miss Alia Bhatt as a bridesmaid at this wedding!
Meet Meghna and Karan
"We had known each other in school, but our paths crossed again years later when we were enrolled at New York University for different courses around the same time. We immediately started spending all our time together as Karan showed me around New York. After three years in the city, I moved back to India in 2017 and we did long-distance for the next four years. In January last year, Karan proposed. I kept thinking it’s a celebration for my sister’s anniversary put together by my mom, until Karan got down on one knee and gave me his grandma's ring. He didn't have the confidence to buy me a ring without checking with me first, so the next day we went ring shopping together!", Megha gushes.

From The Bride:
"I wanted to keep it simple, intimate and easy. The only priority was to have our loved ones present on our special day, so December in Mumbai made most sense. I mentioned to Devika (Narain) that I didn't want a conventional mandap, as it doesn't match my personality. So she came up with the concept of larger-than-life daisies all around, paired with floral hedges."
About her outfit, Meghna says, "I went all over town looking for an outfit, but every lehenga I tried felt contrived. My last stop on the day was Arpita Mehta's store. When I saw the draped sari I ultimately wore, it was love at firstsight. It was so comfortable, and felt like me."
