Destination weddings are so much more intimate and fun! Not only do they ensure everyone stays at the same place and have double the amount of fun, but the guests you do have around you attending one of the most important days of your life are mostly everyone who's special to you guys... so why don't you go a step further and make sure you make their time even more memorable?

Here are some crazy ideas to go the extra mile and surprise your guests.. right from when they arrive to in their rooms! Give them a midnight surprise snack! Order pizzas and have a delivery guy go room to room in the middle of the night or throw a surprise midnight brunch, but everyone loves a midnight snack right? Have a hangover hamper in the room filled with goodies! Right from basic necessities to fun stuff like a hangover kit, a welcome hamper is really going to make them feel special! Add a thank you note for added charm! More ideas on what to add here.

Record a one-take fun video or lipdub Everyone gets to be a part of this, and with today's internet generation that we are, this is way more fun than just photos! Check out Kanika and Atul's Real Wedding on WMG that had some crazy fun videos! Plan a flash mob With the two of you kickstarting things, have your waiters break into a jig and plan a fun flashmob which is going to woo your guests! The surprised look on the faces of those watching a flash mob are priceless! This is a good idea for the Sangeet or the Mehendi. Organise fun activities for the guests Hire dance instructors to teach them a rehearsed dance for the Sangeet or if you're having a seaside destination wedding, how about you make interested and adventurous guests give snorkelling a shot? You could also have sketch artists make their portraits so they can take 'em back as a keepsake!

Make sure there's something for everyone! Your bua, dadi and nani not interested in dancing or snorkelling? Then make sure to organise something that interests them as well- like say cooking classes or even DIY classes like making khadi/ block print sarees? Have a costume party! We Indians are lazy when it comes to costume parties, so how about you throw a surprise one and also hire costumes for everyone? All the guests have to do is pick and change! Give them a celebrity surprise! Hire a celebrity like an actor or a singer to come and perform- but make sure the first time people find out about him or her is when they hit the stage! How awesome would that be?

No celebrity? No problem! Celebrities do not come cheap, so if that's not your thing, then how about you hire a standup comedian or table to table magician to make the evening more fun? Have a takeaway counter Not everyone has an appetite for when the food is served during weddings, and there's almost ALWAYS wastage of food at an Indian wedding, so how about you have a takeaway counter? Just some plastic and cardboard boxes and paper bags and you're all set! They can binge on it whenever they want in the middle of the night! Even mini cakes would do - yumm! Make your entry amazing! Do it Bollywood style with a dhamakedaar entry or do something different like enter on Buddhist chants or to the tune of an acoustic guitar- but make sure to make a hatke entry that your guests are not going to forget for a long long time!

Do a memorable group activity to wrap it up Make them plant saplings or send out flying lanterns... we even had a wedding where guests made kites and block-printed some cloth for fun - a good memorable activity to mark the end of events is something that's gonna touch everyone's heart! Give them a parting shot  Pick one amazing drink - a shot to be precise and pick a reaaalllyyy good one. Some might say a paan-shot is good fun, maybe a signature drink or a fun tequila mix - whatever it is, goodbyes at the door with a shot sound amaze, right? Sounds fun right? Any more ideas?
