Sanitization
This is the most crucial part of planning any wedding in current times and has to be on the top of your intimate wedding checklist. Whether you are doing an in-house wedding or an outside wedding venue, ensure that it is sanitized before and after your event. You don’t want to take any risks for you and your guests!
Communicate With Your Vendors
Is your caterer using all the safety protocols while making the food? Are your decorators ensuring that all vital sanitization rules are being adhered to while setting up? Apart from your wedding guest list, you have to communicate and ensure that all vendors that you are dealing with are following all the required norms.
Licences and Permits
Other new task that is added to your intimate wedding checklist, is licences and permits. Most weddings now require a permission from various authorities to take place. If your wedding guest list is under 100, you should be fine but for arranging food transportation or if your wedding venue requires your guests to travel long distances, you need to arrange for those permits as well.

Double Check On Vendors
While all wedding vendors are working towards giving you that perfect wedding, it’s always good to have a family member or friend assigned to checking on them a few days before the wedding and on the day of the event. In case they have stuck somewhere or need any specific details, this assigned point of contact can help them and you don’t need to worry!
Wedding Guest List
Since we have a restriction on the number of guests for each wedding event, ensure that your wedding guest list is aware of a few simple rules like not getting extra people to the wedding, wearing masks at all times and maintaining general hygiene. While we are sure that everyone’s guests will take all necessary precautions, sometimes in the excitement of the wedding, some things might be missed!

Temperature Checks
This may sound extreme at a wedding but when you are wedding planning during COVID-19, it’s important to have these fever checks. Ensure that there is one dedicated person who will do that at all entry points of the venue along with a senior family member so that in case anyone shows a fever or any symptoms, it can be dealt with immediately and with care!
Have Dedicated Spaces
If you are having an at-home wedding, cordon off certain spaces for yourself. Chances are that all your guests may want to come and meet you while you are getting your hair and makeup done. You don’t want to over crowd your room when you will already have your bridal MUA and photographers there. So keep some space for you to get ready at peace!

Back Up Plans
What if the caterer is unable to make it? What if it rains at my outdoor wedding? These questions are bound to hound you while wedding planning during COVID-19. Ensure you have a backup plan for your major areas. An indoor area to shift your guests into if it starts pouring. A few dry snacks and drinks that can be stored and served if the caterer is late. A rough backup plan will safeguard that you have a good night’s sleep!
