Colourful mehendi decor, a perfectly colour coordinated haldi and an intimate wedding ceremony with just eighty guests, this Udaipur wedding gave us some major #weddinggoals! We absolutely loved the mehendi decor, which was a riot of colours and reflected the absolute happiness experienced by the couple and their guests, and a bride who rocked a multi-hued outfit! Their haldi was also the most coordinated event with all the guests following the colour theme. The bride made sure that everyone had fun on their haldi! The couple's cozy and private destination wedding took place at Labhgarh Palace Resort & Spa with ShutterInk Photography capturing each candid moment beautifully.
Meet Vikash & Agrima
The couple recalls how they met and fell in love, "Me and my fiancée are both Cabin Crew. We found love in each other despite all the time zones ! We literally cross oceans to be with each other. We are the couple with wings ! We met through common friends at a house party. We started talking and the conversation flew easily. By the end of the evening we knew we wanted to talk more, so we exchanged numbers. As we are both cabin crew, our schedules are not fixed, we don’t have a weekend off. So our first official date was a month or so after we’d met. We dated for two and a half years. We were sure that we want to build a life together. Families were involved and we decided to take it to the next level and get married."

The Wedding
From The Couple:
"Vikash is from Kolkata and Agrima is from Basti, Uttar Pardesh. While searching for the venue we concluded that either way there is a long travel involved. Vikash remembered once Agrima had mentioned, how much she would love a destination wedding. The idea came then. He discussed it with her and both agreed upon having a destination wedding. We wanted the feel of the wedding to be royal, hence we decided upon Rajasthan. Vikash took a couple of trips to Rajasthan and came across “Labhgarh palace and resort”. Once he visited the place he knew this is where they would get married. Both of them agreed that wedding should be an intimate affair. So they decided to invite only very close family and friends. The guest list was limited to only eighty people. They had a late afternoon mehnedi ceremony that blended into a sangeet and cocktail in the evening. The mehendi theme was a riot of colours, complete with colorful anars. The next day they started early with haldi ceremony. The color code for this was yellow. In addition, Agrima arranged for colorful “leheria duppatas” for her bridesmaids. The decor was kept simple with yellow and royal blue. For the “phere”, the couple wanted to say their our own vows. So each of them came up with seven of their own. The vows were simple and funny based on their day to day nuisances. The vows included things like Vikash promising to watch animated movies with Agrima (she loved them, he finds them annoying!) and Agrima promised to not give Vikash directions while driving (he is absilutely annoyed by them!) and so on... The wedding ceremony was followed by a reception and a dinner. It was then that the couple clicked pictures with everyone, while the live band played Sufi songs in the backgroun. The evening ended with everyone on the dance floor!"
