An Elegant Nikkah Full Of Love & Raw Emotions

Oh where do we begin? A love story unlike any other, a display of familial bonds, the breathtaking backdrop of Kashmir - this wedding was a fairytale spelled out in pictures and expressions. Zina & Zain got hitched in an elegant ceremony in Kashmir and the celebrations were as candid and full of love as they could be. From an adorable mehendi to an emotional chuda, to a nikkah that was a conundrum of laughter and tears, this wedding was truly goals. We saw the couple celebrate their union, and their families revel in their love! And soon, as the sky turned a glimmering shade of cobalt, the couple took their vows and Zain & Zina promised to be with each other forever. 

It was not just a love story of two souls who were coming together to start their journey, it was also a celebration of two sisters who were soulmates, and were just learning to say a small goodbye before Zina started on this new path. And capturing this turmoil of chaotic display of such raw emotion was the expert team of House On The Clouds. They didn't just capture people, from the lens of their camera, they memorialised emotions.

We got hitched on 19th March '21. My style was vintage and traditional. Punjab meets Kashmir. With a spin on fantasy. All my bridal outfits were designed by my mother and I even wore her clothes, for my mehendi and chura!
