But what you need to see really is the way in which bollywood came out in strong support for the reception in Mumbai. But first, Shahid and Mira who dazzled at their reception. Shahid wore a sprightly suit in black with his gelled hair in tow and that enviable jawline. While Mira once again impressed us with a blue Manish Malhotra lehenga with floral Nirav Modi jewels. They looked totes adorbs!

Big Bling Theory

Kangana Ranaut sure knows how to stay on the right side of style. She went minimal with her printed pink sari and paired with a big bling necklace to stay in tune with the night. Smart move!

Fuchsia Fun

Preity Zinta’s fuchsia pink Manish Malhotra sari is the stuff of kitschy weddings. The gorgeous simple sari with a simple border is subtle and effortless.  She went bare on her neck but dazzled us with chandeliers on the ears.

Modern Princess

Alia Bhatt surprised us all by choosing a Manish Malhotra that’s so off-beat it knocked our socks off. The structured simple lehenga + boxy crop top aside, we loved how she wore no jewellery. Bold, bold!

We often wonder what we should wear to weddings - something that’s bling but a different silhouette other than the usual sari-lehenga. Enter Kirti Sanon who gave us the dhoti-gown in gold. Fun and different!

Silk is the best thing to opt for as a wedding guest - you’ll look regal and you’ll never go wrong. Sonam Kapoor shows us how to colour-block too in this pretty Anuradha Vakil anarkali fit for a modern day queen. Don’t miss checking out that beautiful kundan set on her - delish!

Pastel Wonder

Who said you have to go all bright at a wedding. Genelia shows us the way in a mild teal Shyamal & Bhumika outfit with a bunch of waterfall earrings. Celestial and swish!

Brocades are another amazing way to go when it comes to wearing something fit and fabulous for a wedding. Trust Dia Mirza to wear a beautiful Anita Dongre brocade suit with emerald kundan set - so sweet!

Pastel hues are taking over the wedding guest list. So if you are looking at Shraddha's simple act - know that she's always been a low-brow girl who likes to keep the look easy. Just a sweet clutch and dazzling earrings is all.
