Home weddings have always held a special place in our heart, and in the past year we've seen more & more of home weddings happening. Aditi & Shivam's wedding was one of those. However, it was not just the home wedding that had us smiling! When we read how Aditi & Shivam actually decided to get hitched, we couldn't help but feel happy. Shivam had come to India for his engagement, but because of Covid, was stuck here. After a few months of waiting, the couple decided to go ahead and tie the knot too, with just their closest of friends and family around them! From The Bride: 

Shivam was working in Germany and had come down for our engagement in March 2020. We were supposed to get married in November. We had even booked our venue. He got stuck here in India, since his flights kept getting cancelled. So, during the lockdown we spontaneously decided to get married at home. Thankfully, our families agreed. We were totally unprepared but so glad we were able to pull it off in 3 weeks! We got exactly the kind of wedding we wanted! This was truly our dream wedding :)

Since it was a day wedding at home, I wanted a very simple look. Safa was the perfect choice since she advocates simple and natural looks for brides. She did a flawless job and I was really happy with my look. She helped me prep my skin weeks before the wedding. She was quite professional and flexible. My hair stylist was Anju Yadav, she is one of the best hair stylists right now.

It's not very easy to get great pictures at a home wedding. But Prateek and his team managed to get some fabulous shots. They were extremely professional and got their shots in no time. Our families are extremely happy with the album. We loved the wedding video too, it was edited beautifully.

I got my engagement lehenga completely customised. The designer was super helpful and customising the lehenga was a risk worth taking! They're quite confident about their work and it showed. I was super happy with both my outfits. They have an amazing collection for brides! I went to literally every store in Juhu, Bandra, santacruz and eventually came back to this store.
