From high school sweethearts to Mr & Mrs, Sumedha & Akshit's wedding was truly a celebration of everlasting love! The decor was absolutely on point and the couple looked beautiful in their outfits. The couple's perfectly coordinated wedding outfits were truly #goals. However, it was Sumedha's totally offbeat mehendi look that was an eye-catcher. She went with a uniquely hued sharara and looked absolutely gorgeous. Not to forget the stunning photography by The Wedding Conteurs , who captured the couple's most memorable moments splendidly. All in all, it was a memorable wedding, one to bookmark for future references ;).
Meet Sumedha & Akshit
Sumedha and Akshit were no strangers to each other, in fact they had been dating for 9 long years! As Sumedha writes, "We started dating in class 11th. After a relationship of 9 beautiful years, we got married. So from high school sweethearts to Mrs and Mr Jain today."

The Wedding
From The Bride:
Our very first function was the Engagement. My engagement entry was as Perfect as the theme(did I mention the song was also ‘Perfect’ by Ed Sheeran). It was night full of cocktails, dancing and making lots of memories. Talking about the wedding, it was a dream like fairytale wedding, where we felt like a King and a Queen of some royal palace. We entered with 16 dancers escorting us to the stage on the tunes of Albela Sajan from Bajiroa Mastani. Everything felt so beautiful because what we dreamt of 9 years back while we were dating was finally coming true.
Vendor Reviews:
Bijoyjeet Saikia was my makeup artist for my engagement. He is excellent with his work. Kavleen Arneja was my makeup artist for my Mehendi and Samaira Sandhu was the artist for my Wedding. Samaira did exactly what I wanted, her work is beautiful.
We couldn't have had better photographers than The Wedding Conteurs team. Both Shiv and Nitin are absolutely amazing hum being and makes you feel very comfortable. There was no problem what so ever from pre wedding shoot till the wedding day. They are very professional with their approach. This was the best decision we took.
I wore a Gaurav Gupta gown for my Engagement! Initially we were so confused about the outfit. We decided on getting something customised. But when we had a meeting Gaurav himself, he suggested this beautiful blue outfit which was absolutely gorgeous. I wore Harpreet Narula for my Mehendi. I always wanted an outfit which is different than the usual mehendi outfits. So i opted for this outfit by Harpreet Narula, which is a beautiful mehendi green color sharara with shirt. A very royal outfit. It's every girl’s dream to wear a Sabyasachi on her wedding and mine came true. The whole experience of buying a Sabyasachi lehenga was amazing. From meeting Sabyasachi Mukherjee himself to him decking me up with jewellery and calling his staff to look at me and telling me how beautiful I look, everything was so so beautiful.
My husband wore a Manish Malhotra for the Engagement. After browsing so much for his outfit we finally got something that he loved at the first look. He opted for a Sulakshana Monga outfit for his Wedding. We finalised this sherwani at first look. This was the only sherwani we liked out of all the designers we visited.
