Its Fri-yay and we have been keeping the best for last ladies. A few weeks ago we reached out to all our readers via Instagram to be a part of a gorgeous day we had planned for a bride and her besties , wearing the Gold range from MATSYA by Utkarsh Ahuja. We wanted this to be unlike anything we have ever done before- a true day of pampering with mouth watering goodies, absolutely stunning decor and outfits to drool over ! Meet the girls who got this opportunity and get ready to drool.
Meet Arshia & her bridesmaids- Ridhima, Sharvani & Mannat
Arshia is a 2017 bride and as you can see she brought in her sister in law Riddhima, her 'Chaddi Buddy' Sharvani and her BFF Mannat to our shoot. These four girls wined, dined and made merry infront of the camera as our wizards got to work to give them pictures to remember.
From the bride and her friends...
"When I got the call saying that we were picked for the shoot, I was super excited !!! There's nothing better than a day out with your girls in the run up to the wedding. Add to that some delish macaroons and treats by Bombaykery, some beautiful pastel outfits by MATSYA by Utkarsh Ahuja , copious amount of wine , and the day couldn't have gotten better. Being the bride, I felt super special - My outfit had beautiful bits of Gota patti work splattered across a pastel base and an all over embroidered blouse. All my other friends wore complementary colors and I specially loved my own lehenga as well as a beautiful ash grey crop top and skirt set that my BFF wore. It had such a different hue. After wearing my outfit, we added a custom hair wreath, a choker by Purab Paschim and of course all the pampering by our makeup artist . " quips Arshia.
Riddhima adds " It was a perfect girly decor required for a bride and bridesmaids shoot and it perfectly complemented the outfits by MATSYA by Utkarsh Ahuja, which were all in soft, pastels for spring summer. All our outfits had Gota patti work but they were all different and unique in their own way - mine had resham work flowers on a peach base, Arshia had mint and gold embroidery and Shravani and Mannat both had the most unique colors. We all felt like fairytale princesses with pretty makeup by Aakriti & Tanvi Kocchar along with different hair do's - I specially loved my loose fishtail braid along with the unique earrings that got attached to the hair. In short it was a fun shoot, with yummy Bombaykery goodies which we got to eat at the end of it. Lakshya of Shutterdown Photography is known for his outstanding work and we could see that, along with his witty sense of humour which kept us all going through the day.
