Meet Ishita & Nikunj
"We met nine years ago on a camp to Bhimashankar. We instantly became great friends and started dating a year and a half later. Six years of dating later, there was the most magnificent proposal and we began planning the wedding together," explains Ishita. The Welcome Dinner

The Wedding
From The Bride: "We were both very involved in each detail of each event of the wedding. Our parents took a back seat and let us design the wedding that we wanted. We always knew that we wanted an intimate wedding with our closest family and friends. Everything else just fell in place after that. The family dinner was designed in a way that both our families and friends got to know each other informally so that they had fun with each at the wedding. It was a 3 day wedding with a sit down dinner, rustic sangeet, picnic themed brunch & wedding" says Ishita.
"The picnic was a casual break from getting decked up and was just about spending time with both the families in a happy environment. Even the sangeet and wedding were planned to be really intimate and personal. All the details had some reference to our lives, which made everything even more special. Once we found Ātisuto though, we were sure all our ideas would be executed with as much detail and precision as we would have hoped. And they did the most fabulous job ever of putting everything together. Radisson Blu was also super accommodative towards new ideas we kept throwing at them. This wedding would have been impossible without all the amazing vendors we were lucky to have been associated with," adds Ishita.
"As for my photographers, they are amazing. To be honest, we didn't think twice before getting them on board and we are so so happy that we had them. We can't think of anyone better to have captured the most precious moments of our lives. The best part was that they never made us do anything uncomfortable and unnatural. They made us feel super comfortable and caught the little moments instead of asking us to pose for those moments. The most unique detail of my wedding? The wedding card was designed by our best friend. The groomsmen and bridesmaids boxes were special in every way. Each one was different and customised to personal references between us and them. We tried making every guest feel welcome by leaving little notes for them, sending little presents for them. The best part about our wedding we thought was that we didn't have a typical reception but instead got a chance to spend time with everyone personally," explains Ishita.
