A couple whose love story made us believe in destiny! Their journey from 'no strings attached' to 'can't wait to get married' was too cute to be ignored! They got married at an unconventional destination - Hampi, with so many cutesy, personalised elements that one cannot help but take inspiration from. Shivangi made her own wedding outfit where she illustrated images of their travels and milestone moments, and trust us, it turned out to be beyond gorgeous!
The Wedding Crew proved to be the best to capture all the adorable moments effortlessly. Check out the magical bit, below!
Meet Shivangi & Sambhav
Sambhav and I met at a business networking event where Sambhav was chauffeuring his sister and I was there to attend it. We happened to have a brief conversation and realised that we have a few common friends. His sister realised that he was interested in me, so she offered to drop me back home which was very close to where they live. We exchanged numbers and started talking! I wasn't ready for a relationship and made it quite clear to him from the start while he was very candid and clear about his intentions. I left for Monaco for my Masters, just a couple of months later but we decided to keep in touch. I kept coming to Bangalore to visit my parents every 4-5 months, and Sambhav and I would inevitably meet every day. A year and a half later he came to visit me in France and stayed with me for 3 weeks to 'convince' me while secretly, I was already committed to him! Two years later he surprised me with a trip to the Maldives for a proposal, and a year later we got married in Hampi!

From The Bride
Sambhav and I were very clear to have a very intimate destination wedding. We explored various palaces and beach options but nothing seemed right! We had read about Evolve Back Resorts in Hampi and while evaluating a temple wedding option there, we went for a recce and were floored by the sheer hospitality and magnificence of the property. It was a '175 people wedding' in Hampi. The property was so beautiful in itself that we had very minimalistic decor designed and executed by me and my Bhabhi. We wanted our guests to feel extremely special and personalised everything possible, including cute notes for them in their rooms and washrooms.
I also personalised my wedding lehenga with Sambhav and my love story - designing and executing it at my own garment manufacturing unit. In short, the wedding was extremely close, personal with a lot of attention to smaller details.
Vendor Reviews
Evolve Back Resorts , Hampi - This property is exceptional and epitomises luxury. I haven't seen any other Indian property with such massive rooms - our guests truly felt royal! This was the first wedding in the property. We were a little skeptical in the beginning but the manager was so welcoming and assuring that without him we wouldn't have been able to manage such a great and happy wedding. Their hospitality was impeccable - they would cater to our needs without even telling them what we wanted. And the food was amazing on all days! They also executed 50 people sit down dinner for us on the first night which most of the guests cherish till date.
From the day of the trial, all functions and the wedding day, Swati Gupta from Bodycraft gave me different looks which were very comforting and easy to carry. Somehow she just knew what looks good and what doesn't. I would recommend her without a doubt.
The Wedding Crew (Ali and team) was such a breeze to work with. They've now turned more like friends to the family. Ali put up with all my tantrums, demands and million changes to plans and edits. We only wanted candid photographs of us and the family and we're so glad to have it captured by the right team.
Nidhi Musaddi handled our decor and e-invites, and it'll be less to say that she's an ocean of idea and a brilliant executor.
