We love quirky elements mixed up with traditional celebrations, and Prerna & Akshay's wedding was exactly that - a perfect blend of quirk and tradition. The decor was trendy and on point while Prerna's bridal looks were sure eye-catching. Their pool party, mehendi and cocktail were grand celebrations and the wedding was definitely a dreamy affair. Prerna wore a ravishing red lehenga and looked every bit the bridal beauty! Hitched and Clicked shot this wedding and gave the couple unforgettable memories for a lifetime!
Meet Prerna & Akshay
Prerna tells us how music played cupid for her and Akshay, "My cousin was getting married to Akshay’s cousin and they introduced us to each other at an Afrojack concert. Post this we met at their wedding but did not really chill together. A year later, we bumped into each other in a building we both were moving into and had more than an hour long conversation in the parking lot itself! From then on we started hanging out and hit it off from there. By the time our houses were ready to move into we realised we had fallen for each other and decided to get married. Akshay has always been a dreamy romantic person whereas I am the most practical person possible. Though we are literally opposites in every way possible, something always brought us back to each other and felt a spark between us."

From The Bride:
We had a very quintessential fun punjabi wedding, where there was bhangra and madness in every function. I looked after the decor aspect of the functions closely along with the theme decor elements. We stuck to a tropical state of mind and so the pool party was the biggest highlight and too much fun. Everything was inspired from browsing the wedmegood app hundreds of times. Since it was in Thailand, we wanted to keep some Thai flavour which we incorporated in the wedding day decor. We chose Hua Hin to get married in May because I am a sucker for beaches and just wanted to be by the beach side on my special days. When we visited a few properties in Thailand, We fell in love with Shereton Hua Hin Resort & Spa at once!
Vendor Reviews:
Hitched & Clicked: Probably the most Important part of your wedding is choosing the correct photographer who understands your needs and knows his job perfectly. I was highly satisfied with the work Hitched & Clicked have done. I relive my wedding every time I look at pictures and feel blessed that I went for H&C because these would have been just memories had they not captured and preserved them SO perfectly. Gaurav was always pushing us to take pictures but also very patient at the same time. From couple photos to family photos to portraits, each moment has been beautifully and elegantly captured by Hitched & Clicked.
Bianca Louzado: Bianca just knew the right look that would go with every outfit of mine. For every function I would just sit on her chair and let her do her thing and knew that she would do the best. She made me feel comfortable every time and played music whenever she was painting me. The whole experience of getting my make up done from her was amazing. She has magic in her hands and her imagination of the look for every outit is just apt.
