A Pastel Jaipur Wedding With A Bride In Shimmery Baby Pink Lehenga

Tell us the last time you saw a bride in white kaleere? Coz we can't think of one. White chudas, white bridal lehengas, but white kaleere, this is the first we've seen of such. However, it was not just her white kaleere that caught our attention. The entire wedding was as pretty as they come. It was gorgeous, from decor to outfits, and not just the coordinated bride and groom but the entire bridal and groom party was also equally heart stoppingly beautiful. It was a wedding worth bookmarking and The Photo Diary by Monisha did a stellar job of capturing it all!
Meet Keshavi & Raghav
Keshavi tells us how they met, and how their love triumphed above all difficulties they faced in a decade long relationship, "Raghav & I met on the first day of high school in 2007 and quickly became best friends. We started dating in 2008. Ten years, long distance, many break ups and make ups later, we finally got engaged in 2018."

The Wedding
From The Bride:
We both really wanted an intimate destination wedding with all our friends and family in the same hotel, and both of us were very excited about the idea of a wedding in Rajasthan. The Fairmont Jaipur was the perfect choice for us! When it came to wedding planning, I already had a clear vision of what I wanted each event to look like and even had a detailed 100 page presentation for decor ?. I love pastel shades and that was a theme that tied into everything at the wedding from the decor to my outfits. Both my sisters are graphic designers so they designed my logo and wedding card as well.
For the welcome dinner, I wanted an intimate sit down dinner with our closest friends and family in attendance. Fairy light canopies, personalised table settings, polaroid guestbooks, soft music, yummy food, amazing and emotional speeches - the first night was the perfect event to kick off our wedding celebrations.
For the Mehendi, my vision was to have a vintage garden party with florals and pastels being the predominant elements.
The Fairmont terrace was the perfect venue with a beautiful backdrop for the Mehendi dances at sunset.
A defining moment for our relationship was a Coldplay concert we both attended in 2012. Coldplay is our favourite band and fittingly enough, the theme for our Sangeet was a “Sky Full of Stars” - full of lights and sparkle!
For the Wedding, I envisioned whimsical romantic soft decor elements, so fairy lights, shades of pink flowers, and baby’s breath were predominantly used. The Fairmont itself is so royal and beautiful, so I didn’t need to or even want to overdo the decor.
When it came to my outfits, I always knew it would be Manish Malhotra for both my Sangeet and Wedding!! I didn’t even bother looking anywhere else. It was always going to be white for the Sangeet and baby pink for the wedding. For the Mehendi, I got a custom made pink Shriya Som lehenga with white floral accents, that was so light to wear and the perfect choice for the Mehendi with it’s garden party vibe. My haldi outfit was from Richa Khemka, and I got matching identical outfits tailored for all my bridesmaids.
Raghav was sweet enough to wait until I had decided all of my outfits, and then we picked his looks to complement them. For the Mehendi we got him a matched pink tone bandgala from Bubber Couture, with white accents as well. For the Sangeet we picked a classic royal blue Raghavendra Rathore achkan. For the Wedding, Manish recommended a lovely grey tone sherwani with matching silver embroidery to my lehenga, and a tone matched pink kurta and safa to go with it. I loved how our complementary wedding looks turned out.
Vendor Reviews:
After meeting with Manish and his amazing team, I got both my outfits customised and got involved in picking everything from the type of embroidery to colour of the sequins. My brief to them was simple: make it sparkle! ? My sangeet outfit was heavily embroidered and still so light and comfortable! My vision for my bridal outfit was all pink, white and sparkly and I was so happy with how the entire look right from the lehenga, jewellery and make up, came together, just as I had dreamed it would.
My make up for all 3 events was done by Pakkhi! I don’t usually wear a lot of make up and neither do I like elaborate hairstyles, and it was very important for me to look and feel like myself on the most important days of my life. Pakkhi was the perfect choice to ensure I got exactly what I wanted. She’s an artist!
Lastly, photography and videography was by The Photo Diary. Monisha is amazing to work with. She and her team, really understood my vision as a bride and have, in my opinion, beautifully captured every heartbeat of our wedding. Thank you! ?
Raghav picked all the entertainment that we had at the wedding and we were so happy with all of them! Samuel Berlie set the tone at the first night’s sit down dinner with his amazing voice and quickly got everyone on their feet. DJ AJ and DJ Mark IV ensured that no one left the dance floor! And Bryden and Parth with the Choral Riff gave us an amazing cross-genre musical experience at the reception.
