When a couple has been dating since school for 12 long years, then you know the wedding has to be an extended party for everyone involved! Nupur and Prateek had a celebration of love for 3 long days, and we absolutely are in love with everything to do with their sundowner sangeet- right from the thoughtful decor ideas to the bride's vibrant orange lehenga! Take a look at this cheerful wedding, which as per the bride, was just like them, no filters- 'silly, smiles and pure fun'!
Meet Nupur and Prateek
Prateek and I started dating many many years ago. We actually met in class 11th when I joined his school (DPS RK Puram).

From The Bride:
Our wedding took place on 10th March 2023. After 12 years, 3 countries, 5 universities, 3 jobs, 100000 hours of FaceTime and infinite fights, we finally made it! Prateek and I wanted this wedding to be a celebration of our love that survived the years (even with long distance). Our vision was simple, a wedding that is us: silly, all smiles and pure fun! This was made possible through an amalgamation of different artists and themes - a colourful and quirky sundowner sangeet where we danced to the tunes of The Unplugged Project and DJ Sukhbir, an elegant and heart-touching wedding day that brought family and friends together and a vibrant reception to sign it off supported by Sufi music by the band Swaraag and partying till the end of the night thanks to DJ Ajay Nautiyal. Looking back at the 3 days, we enjoyed every single moment because we were us, no filters. I used the WedMeGood App to find my choreographer.
Vendor Reviews
Venues
Glass house, Shagun Farms (Sangeet): Fab venue for what we wanted, a mix of outdoor and indoor space, comfortable for an intimate gathering and managed by a brilliant team who are ready to go that extra mile to make your event special (shoutout to Daksh at FNP for helping us with everything).
28th the Mall (Wedding): My dad was in the Army so I knew I would get married in the cantonment. Great venue and a place that definitely has a lot of nostalgia for me.
The Mansion, Hyatt Regency (Reception): A beautiful hall with a small patio, what made this place standout is really the food, they provided us with live counters that offered some of Hyatt's best food, couldn't go wrong with that.
Makeup Artist: Chandani Malik (Sangeet), Gomit Chopra (Wedding), Emelda (Reception)
I was nervous about going for three different makeup artists but I cannot be happier with the final looks. All of them were so lovely to work with, they made me feel comfortable and took away any concerns. My makeup and hair survived all night even though I was dancing and jumping all night.
Wedding Planning: Bonvera
The company is run by a dynamic duo who are young, energetic and passionate about the work they do. Harsh and Madhu along with their teams made all are ideas come to life. They made sure we and our families had no stress on the days leading up to our big day and we could truly enjoy to the fullest. This wedding could not be possible without all their hard work, thank you Harsh and Madhu!
Photography: The Wedding Files
They captured our events so beautifully that hopefully you can also feel the love oozing out of the pictures. Big thank you to the entire team and especially Amrit for documenting the most beautiful memories that we (mostly me) are kinda obsessed with.
Sangeet Outfit: Sunaina Khera
Shoutout to Sunaina who Prateek and I went to school with, she is a fabulous designer and an amazing human, so glad I could reconnect with her and get a beautiful outfit designed by her :)
Mehendi Artist: Kundan Mehandi
Kundan and his team are great at what they do! My bridal mehendi was done in no time and I could go back to dancing with everyone. Needless to say, I loved the design and was showing it off for the next few days.
Music: Bollyjazz
We had a few restrictions at our wedding venue around sound levels. Nikhil and Nathalie were so understanding and tailored their sets so we had beautiful jazz beats playing in the background without breaking any rules.
Wedding Choreography: Together & Forever Wedding Choreography
Maneesh is a star, he really becomes a part of your family! Maneesh successfully taught my friends and family living across the globe dances for my sangeet. If you see some of our sangeet pictures, you can spot him in the background reminding everyone their steps.
