Snow-capped mountains, lush green valleys, and a bride in an ivory lehenga, this wedding was truly beautiful! From the stunning decor of the wedding, to a perfect backdrop of the Gurudwara, the two ceremonies were as picturesque as they could get. The bride looked equally stunning in her red suit as she did in her bridal lehenga, both courtesySabyasachi Mukherjee , and the photography by Photo Tantra took the entire thing up a notch! Also, extra brownie points to the bride for minimal mehendi!
Meet Nikita & Utkrisht
Nikita tells us how theirs is a modern-day romance, "We met via Coffee Meets Bagel, a dating app, in New York in 2015. He was 8 minutes late to our first date and I decided to wait for an extra 10! Our first date lasted 5 hours and we connected immediately. There has been no looking back since."

The Wedding
From The Bride:
Our wedding was a mix of all things fun, rustic and floral! We had a rustic outdoor Sangeet with everyone performing to Bollywood music. Since I am Sikh and Utkrisht is Hindu, we had an outdoor Hindu wedding and a Gurudwara Sikh wedding followed by an American style reception. I would define our style as one filled with love and elegance!
JW Marriott Mussoorie Walnut Grove Resort & Spa is fantastic and the hospitality is incomparable. There are tons of outdoor and indoor venues to host events and the venue made for a beautiful wedding in the hills.
Jasmeet Kapany is a thorough professional. She was very easy to work with and she made me look different for each event. She knows her art well and does a great job at it.
I could not have asked for a better team to cover our wedding. Photo Tantra were so enthusiastic and humble. The entire family and all guests loved them and their work. They became a part of our family and the deliverables have been stunning so far.
Rishabh and his team from Panchhi Events brought all my visions to reality. We chatted from Chicago to India for multiple hours and the team nailed all details. From the wooden logs and fairy lights at the Sangeet, the floral tent for Jaimala to the silver themed American reception, it was very well done.
I bought my Sangeet outfit from Disha Patil. She is very creative and did a great job with my outfit. My outfits for Anand Karaj and wedding were by Sabyasachi Mukherjee. I walked into the Delhi store and it did not take me long to fall in love with my ivory lehnga and red suit. My American Reception outfit was by Zara Umrigar. I went to Mumbai to see her work and Zara suggested the green color and it turned out great.
Jully and her team were very sweet and had innovative designs. I sent her the minimalistic design I wanted and she did exactly that.
QBIK did Utkrisht's Sangeet and Wedding outfits and it turned out great. They have a good collection and do a great job with the fit. Gargee Designers did Utkrisht's Sikh wedding outfit and it was suggested by Ravi Gupta and looked great on Utkrisht.
Nice Wedding Cards did my wedding invites. I wanted something subtle and rustic and they created a chic wooden box with a wax stamp for us and it was perfect.
