A 'Glamping' Themed Renewal of Vows : #Idotaketwo
BY The WMG Bride | 17 Mar, 2016 | 11664 views | 2 min read
When we were approached by Four Points by Sheraton for a renewal of vows at their beautiful property, we sort of just laughed. We got hitched just 4 years ago and started WedMeGood around two years back, so this was a bit early for #Idotaketwo we thought.
But when we came to terms with it, we thought, well, how would we do it differently now? After seeing a gazillion weddings every day and being a part of this industry, we knew we wanted a "Glamping " themed setup. What's Glamping? Well- Glamorous Camping! Think gorgeous tents, cabanas, dinner under the night sky, bonfires out in the open lawl and pool side fun. Four Points by Sheraton was the perfect spot to incorporate all these locations into one.
From the couple: Being the founders of WedMeGood, we go through 'wedding envy' pretty much every day. Well, at least one of us does ;). This was our chance to do it all over again, our way :). We can't believe how fun this day was, being surrounded by loved ones, hogging on yummy treats (the noodle spring rolls at Four Points were to die for and the chef was so sweet), a surprise proposal by Mehak, and being shot by an incredible photographer like Morvi who manages to make every frame a movie star like shot (these photos are being blown up and framed as we type). Also a huge thank you to Savleen for being the makeup artist I never had at my own wedding day
We knew we wanted easy-going, fuss-free clothes but that doesn't mean you shouldn't dress up! We just wanted to make sure it was fluid, comfortable and appropriate for the occasion.
We wish more weddings go the 'glamping' route. Just grab your closest friends and family, pick a special location, have a bit of a bonfire and a day to remember.
