If regal weddings are your vibe too, then you will surely love this one! Vidhi and Pathik had a glam wedding in Mundota Palace, a wedding venue that came to the limelight with the show 'Made In Heaven'. The wedding was an elegant affair full of cool ideas for guests and pretty bridal picks! The Candid House did a fab job on capturing the regality!
Meet Vidhi and Pathik
We had a typical arranged marriage set-up. But no one believed that because both of us said a yes in just a day of meeting. Guess it was 'Love at First Sight'. :P And even on our wedding people kept questioning us this seeing us together but yes that is true we had an arranged marriage.
Mehendi
Our first function was Mehendi where we had a pastel decor theme by the poolside. We had a punjabi singer from Delhi since we wanted our first function to be bang on. Our outfits were colourful and bright whereas I chose for a subtle nude based make-up on my Mehendi day. Our function was on Sankrat day henceforth we kept kite flying on our function too for our guests. We also had balloon shots for our entry as well as balloon shooting and bangle making stalls. Our ‘make your own gin’ bar was super hit at the function.
Chura & Haldi
For our Haldi and Chuda ceremony, we chose to enter with a flashmob on that day on the song ‘Nach Punjaban’ since ours was a hard core punjabi wedding. We had a ‘detox bar’ for all the hungover people as well as a ‘massage counter’ so that people could relax and recoup and get ready to dance away the night again. DJ and Dhol did full justice that day.
Sangeet & Engagement
Our Engagement and Sangeet ceremony had a glam theme. Our decor was neon and glamorous. Our entry was no less than a celebrity entry. We chose to wear Black and Gold on our cocktail night.
Wedding
At night we had our early pheras. Early because both bride and groom are big party troopers and wanted to dance and enjoy all night.
The highlight of our wedding was the Varmala ceremony where we chose to exchange garlands on the top of the Palace amidst more than 100 firecrackers and flags. Our entries spoke royalty as we both always wanted a Royal Wedding. The public hooted for us as we exchanged garlands and later vows. Our last function was a surprise and easy to say the star of all the functions. We had an after party where we had a Game of Thrones theme as our venue was a war fort.
From The Bride:
Our wedding took place on January 15, 2023. We always wanted a Royal Palatial Wedding and of course a Destination Wedding and our dream came true when we decided to get married at Mundota Fort and Palace. The wedding was a Grand Punjabi Winter Wedding where both the families vibed together. It was super cold on our wedding day and only drinking and dancing could keep us, and the guests survive the night. We saw the sunrise and were tired but definitely happy that we could have our dream wedding just how we had ever dreamt.

Vendor Reviews
Venue: Mundota Fort and Palace
Our venue was one of the highlights of the functions. 'Mundota Fort and Palace' commonly famous for the Made in Heaven wedding was a secret hunt for us. This place is located at 1.5 hours away from Jaipur Airport so has an easy commute. This place had everything we wanted. From rawness of a heritage property to services of a 5 star luxury hotel.
Makeup Artist: Rishab Khanna
My make-up artist did full justice to all my looks. I had seen his work in person and even before I had met Pathik I had decided that I would get ready only by him on my wedding day. I would highly recommend him if you want a perfect base and perfect looks. His hairstylist 'Imran Ahmed' did an equally fabulous job with my hair.
Wedding Planning & Decor: IS Events
Our wedding planner was IS Events who were Jaipur based itself. Their personalization and coverage of our little details was highly appreciated by the guests. Our unique room hamper or giving kachori packets to all those who travelled for the wedding via flight/train was appreciated by everyone.
IS Events did our decor as well. They did a really good job with each function having unique theme and decor. For all events they did focus on even the minute details of each event.
Photography: The Candid House Photography
Our photographer were Jaipur based itself. They did full justice in capturing the entire venue and the secret spots of the venue since they have worked here before. We were happy with our clicks since this was something we didn't want to go wrong with at all.
