Not only did the couple have a great wedding, their pre-wedding functions, like the Holi, was a blast too! Anushi looked beautiful in a pastel lehenga on the wedding day, with Slice of Life Pictures★ 4.9 capturing the precious moments perfectly. Scroll down and see for yourself!

Meet Anushi & Prakash

Prakash and I met at The University of Nottingham, UK. We bumped into each other at a fashion show held by the universities Hindu society. This was brief encounter; really, we became friends during Summer 2011. 16th November 2011, Prakash finally decided to tell me how he really felt! Since then, we have never been happier. We actually did our Civil Ceremony the same date in the UK to mark our anniversary

The Proposal:

I love to celebrate everything and Christmas is one of my favourite holidays. For this reason, Prakash decided to take me to Vienna to visit all the Christmas markets in October 2018. I was so excited; little did I know he had planned the whole trip. He had already spoken to my parents and liaised with a local company out there to video the whole thing. We took a horse and carriage ride to the Belvedere Palace. As we walk through the gardens, there is this table with Champagne and roses waiting, with a violinist paying our song; he gets down on one knee and says ‘please let me annoy you for the rest of our life’. Of course, I said ‘YES’ and it was my favourite memory until we had our wedding in GOA.

The Holi

The Wedding

From The Bride:

From a very young age, I had always dreamt of having this magical destination wedding. This meant lots of events with music, dance and great food. Prakash being him, just wanted me to have the wedding of my dreams. So, we started to look at destinations and we were in a mix between Goa and Thailand. Eventually we went along with Goa as it made sense as we both had family already there. For me specifically it was really important for my Nani to be there and she would have only been able to attend if the wedding took place in India.

Vendor Reviews:

Venue: The Lalit Golf & Spa Resort in Goa!
In my mind, I knew the events and themes I wanted. We just needed to find the perfect venue that ticked all our boxes. We found it! The Lalit Golf & Spa Resort in Goa! Next to ensure was that the rooms and food would be good for our guests. The venue ticked these boxes too. Every room is a suite so there is plenty of space and the food served during our stay and for all the events was amazing. The chefs sat with us numerous times to ensure we were happy with the menus and gave us several tasting sessions. The staff were really accommodating and ensure all the guests had transfer organised to and from the airport. The hotel spreads across 85 acres of land and provides a wide range of areas to host each function. From beaches to various lawn spaces and even different tropical gardens; so your guests never have to be at the same spot twice.

Abhishek and his team were so professional! We had one request from them which was to create a same day edit of all our events to show to our guests during the final event, the reception. To say this video was amazing would be an understatement. Considering they had 2.5 days to capture 5 events – they honestly did an incredible job. The guests loved it and they managed to get a lot of our guests featured into the video. This really helped bring the perfect end to our wedding celebrations. The photos they provided were beautiful especially the candid ones! They have given us some moments we shall cherish for a lifetime. We are excited to see the final video of everything. They really do set the bar high when it comes to videography and photography!
