What happens when you have known each other for 5 years and decide to tie the knot? You know in your heart that you are making the best decision of your life! That is exactly how it was for Roma and Sami. They maybe Canadians, but they celebrated their culture and their traditions in the most beautiful manner possible during their wedding celebrations. Roma looked enchanting in her pink and blue lehenga, as well as in the white saree she wore for her reception. Rita Kravchuk captured the couple's moments, candid and otherwise, in a perfect manner, and Chateau Le Jardin was an unforgettable location for their celebrations!

From The Bride:
I was married on June 17th 2018, to a Canadian-born Palestinian man of Christian Orthodox heritage - this was a love marriage and we’ve known each other for 5 years. While we are both Canadian-born, we had opted for a big fat, fully traditional 3-day Hindu wedding with Sangeet, mehndi DJ party, with Chooda ceremony, wedding and reception. Sami's parents are deceased so we had opted for a photo of them in our ceremony along with Groom’s brother sitting with us and my parents. We had a few tribute Bollywood dances with our bridal party as both my husband and I are big Bollywood fans. We are both passionate about environmental sustainability, and ensured - this passion was reflected in our flower choices, invitations and our favours. As an alternative to wedding favours for our guests, we made a donation to the Nature Conservancy of Canada instead.
Vendor Reviews:
Chic Events By Sonia (Wedding Coordinator): I'm so glad we went with Sonia. She met us near our home and was extremely professional, organized and flexible.
Nadiya V Designs (Invitations): I found Nadiya V through Instagram and through the local library - she is an incredibly gifted and creative designer. She designs both, on trend invitations and is eager to integrate the client's ideas.
Rita Kravchuk (Photography): We were so thrilled to work with Rita and incredibly happy with the results. She's very professional, stylistically gifted and will aggressively get the best shot for you. We are so happy she took charge of each opportunity to provide us with incredible shots.
Anita Dongre (Outfits): I visited Anita Dongre's boutique in New Delhi at DLF Emporio. I always knew I would go with Anita Dongre for my shaadi outfit, as her sustainability values align with my own. I loved the experience shopping here, and at the Khan Market location - her team is eager to please.
Host Fine Indian Cuisine (Catering): Host Fine Indian Cuisine is the only way to go when it comes to a celebration or a grand affair in Toronto. They are by far the best when it comes to Indian food - and are fully on trend when it comes to new culinary experiences. I definitely recommend them!
