Now here is a bride who literally took our breath away! Nidhi made sure her bridal looks were special and unique for each and every function, and trust us when we say we are in absolute awe! From being a boho bride in her mehendi (and doing that in a saree!), to a gorgeous traditional look for her Tamil wedding, and then of course, being a modern bride in her pastel lehenga for the Gujarati wedding, Nidhi was a vision to behold. The wedding that took place in Napa, Calfiornia had decor that was beyond beautiful, and if you are looking for ideas and inspiration for your 2024 wedding, perfect to browse!
Meet Nidhi and Rohan
Back during my junior year of college, I landed an internship at LexisNexis. It was the summer, and I was working up with Karthik, who happened to be one of Rohan's childhood pals. One evening, out of the blue, Karthik hit me up with a text, inviting me to chill at our local Applebee's. Without thinking twice, I replied with a 'I'm down,' but, well, I didn't quite get down there as quickly as I promised - I was just too cozy in bed! When I finally showed up, a couple of hours late, they were still there, enjoying a couple of beers. That's when I first met Rohan in 2016. After that initial meet-up, we started hanging out with our friends, doing all sorts of stuff together—amusement parks, trips, restaurants and going out in NYC and, playing tennis.
Rohan asked me out once, but I was not in the right mindset to commit to a relationship at the time. Still, we kept texting and talking every single day. Then one night, while he was out with some friends, one of them decided to play matchmaker. They told Rohan, 'Call her right now and ask her out!' That's exactly what he did. Of course, I said yes!
For our first official date, I picked him up from his place, and we headed to California Pizza Kitchen in King of Prussia, PA. Life was busy for both of us, with work taking us away from Monday to Thursday. So, our weekends were the only time we could see each other, if we were lucky. But then, COVID happened, and the work-from-home life actually turned out to be a blessing for us.
During that time, our families met, and we got super close to each other's folks. We even started going on vacations together, doing family dinners, and sipping wine on at each other’s homes Friday nights. Plus, our consulting jobs gave us the chance to travel and work from different cities.
Our personalities are like day and night. Rohan is all calm, collected, organized, and he loves routines and quiet moments. On the other hand, I thrive on spontaneity and chaos, and I tend to get a bit fiery in intense situations. I like to think that I bring some excitement to his life, while he keeps me grounded and logical. He is quite literally my best friend and with my personality, he definitely never feels bored.
Mehendi
The Mehendi event exuded a natural vibe, with a floral backdrop incorporating greenery, low tables, and cushions. The garden pastels color palette created a warm and welcoming atmosphere, fostering a casual hangout with close family and the bridal party, complete with carom boards for entertainment.
Tamil Wedding
For the Tamil Wedding and Lunch, we embraced a traditional yet colorful decor theme. Hues of oranges, yellows, greens, pinks, and peaches adorned the mandap, creating a vibrant and festive ambiance. The addition of parasol umbrellas and traditional south Indian textiles at lunch tables added to the cultural richness. The traditional attire choices, such as vaistis for cousins and nine-yard sarees for moms, beautifully complemented the overall decor.
Wedding
The Gujarati Wedding, set against the picturesque vineyard hills, featured ethereal decor. The mandap, adorned with white and pink flowers, and the aisle decorated with floral petals, blended the American and Indian wedding vibes seamlessly. The request for guests to wear pastel colors added a delightful touch.
Cocktail Hour & Reception
Cocktail hour and Reception witnessed jaw-dropping decor. The seating chart, named after vineyards, added a personal touch. The reception layout, devoid of a stage, fostered intimacy. The smoked black glasses, beige dance floor, and lantern-style arrangements created a perfect harmony of neutral colors that complemented the venue's natural elements, including the rolling vineyards and the beautiful sunset. Our wedding decor vendor's attention to detail and creative flair truly made our wedding an enchanting and personalized celebration.
From The Bride:
Our wedding festivities took place from July 15th-22nd, 2023. Our wedding decor, curated by our fantastic vendor, brought a unique and memorable theme to each event, enhancing the overall experience.

Photography: Mili Ghosh Photography
From the moment I set my heart on having Mili and Sid as our photographers, they exceeded every expectation. Mili's timeless aesthetic goes beyond capturing mere photographs; she immerses herself in each moment, setting the vibe with classic Hindi music, framing shots that embrace the natural landscape, considering lighting, outfits, and our genuine selves. While the photos themselves speak volumes, the real magic lies in Mili and Sid running back and forth, climbing chairs, and grabbing props. These lively moments are etched in my memory, and I recall them when I look at the pictures. Mili is undoubtedly one of the best wedding photographers in the industry, and her dedication and artistry make her stand out. We are immensely grateful for the stunning memories she created for us. Her exceptional talent transports me back in time to those exact moments, capturing each nuance, shared smile, and glance so authentically.
Venue: Carneros Resort & Spa
Our wedding venue was Carneros Resort and Spa, and we want to express our deepest gratitude to Kristina and Jessica for making it an extraordinary experience. From the moment we signed the contract, it felt like a serendipitous choice. Initially drawn to its charm during a casual visit to the Boon Fly Cafe in the early days of our engagement, each subsequent trip to the venue only solidified our belief that we had made the perfect choice. Despite the inevitable challenges that come with wedding planning, stepping into the various spaces within the resort consistently reignited our excitement and confidence in our decision. The ambiance, the attention to detail, and the overall aesthetic were beyond what we had envisioned. Kristina and Jessica played a crucial role in ensuring that our special day unfolded seamlessly.
Makeup Artist & Hairstylist: Salt Spell Beauty
These ladies, Andrea and Mariana, are sheer magic with makeup and hair! With just three conversations and one trial, they effortlessly captured the essence of my dream wedding looks. From a boho braid for the mehendi to a traditional silk back high bun adorned with jasmine for the Tamil ceremony, they nailed it. The sangeet brought out a daring side with a stunning blue winged liner that complemented my outfit perfectly. Even when I dozed off during the sangeet prep, they worked their magic. The Gujarati ceremony reflected my natural self, and for the cocktail and reception, they seamlessly transitioned from a soft daytime look to a slightly bolder nighttime vibe. The low bun for the reception allowed me to dance the night away. Starting each day with positivity, they pampered us with a rejuvenating facial, turning my tired skin into a radiant glow. Salt Spell Beauty, you made every moment of my wedding prep a dream come true!

Our heartfelt gratitude goes to Amrit and her exceptional team for orchestrating a wedding that surpassed all expectations. Despite the challenges of planning a destination wedding remotely, Amrit's unwavering dedication shone through. Countless virtual calls were spent meticulously discussing timelines, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring every venue requirement was met. Amrit's commitment went above and beyond, making multiple trips to inspect event spaces and rentals. However, the true testament to their expertise was the flawless execution on the day itself. Amrit, Minnie, and Kismet's care and attention extended not only to us but also to our families and bridal party. They seamlessly coordinated vendors, priests, bridesmaids, groomsmen, and families, resulting in a stress-free day where everything unfolded even better than our wildest imaginations. Their professionalism and personal touch made our wedding an unforgettable experience.

Our experience with Prashe and her team was nothing short of magical. Each event they crafted had its own distinctive theme, creating unforgettable memories for our wedding. The mehendi setup exuded a natural vibe with lush greenery and cozy seating, fostering a relaxed and homey atmosphere. The Tamil wedding radiated traditional charm with a burst of colors, from the mandap's floral dome to the vibrant aisle. The Gujarati wedding seamlessly blended the essence of both Indian and American weddings, set against the backdrop of vineyard hills. The reception, with its jaw-dropping decor, featured a thoughtfully designed seating chart, minimalist floral arrangements, and enchanting lantern-style arrangements over the dance floor. Every detail reflected a perfect harmony with the venue's natural elements. Prashe and her team transformed our wedding into a collection of visually stunning and emotionally resonant moments. Their creativity, attention to detail, and ability to capture the essence of each event left us in awe. We highly recommend Prashe and her team to couples seeking a decor team that turns dreams into reality.
