A 40 People Telugu Wedding With An Offbeat Bridal Kanjeevaram

The pandemic has made all the couples into resilient individuals - people who've overcome unexpected hardships to ensure that they tie the knot! Abhinaya & Sri Hari are also one such couple. With restrictions coming into effect and rules & regulations changing all their plans - the bride, with the help from her family, planned an intimate wedding in just 10 days - and booked the venue on the morning of their first function! We salute her determination and are thoroughly impressed by her dedication. And ultimately, it was a gorgeous wedding where Abhinaya shined as a bride in her kanjeevarams and Sri Hari complimented her perfectly in his traditional outfits. Oh and their special guest, their adorable pup, was definitely the cherry on top!
Meet Abhinaya & Sri Hari
We met 11 years ago, right after college, as freshers in Accenture. We were a part of the same work group and used to hang out together almost everyday. Two years later both of us moved to Germany to study further and parted ways (though we always stayed in touch and met each once in a year or so), but covid brought as back together as I moved to Berlin right before the entire lockdown for a project. That's when we started meeting more often and decided we must never "part" ways again. And made it official ?

From The Bride:
We got hitched on 16th June 2021. It was a 3 day traditional Telugu wedding. Though the initial planned date was 4th June, due to covid second wave lockdown in Bangalore, our entire plans turned upside down. Venue got cancelled, no of guests were restricted to 50, no stores were open to shop our wedding clothes. But in the end everything worked out magically! A huge thanks to my dad and brother-in-law for all the running around to ensure everything falls in place. We found a wonderful venue, having less guest was a blessing in disguise, it was intimate, personal and the ceremony was a wonderful experience for the both of us and the guests.
Vendor Reviews:
Venue: Aadya Farms and Resorts.
All 40 guests stayed at the venue with us! We finalised this venue on 14th June afternoon as the previous venue cancelled on us due to covid regulations. But they were super supportive, got us all the permissions necessary, and ensured we were super comfortable. The staff were very friendly and made sure our guests were at ease. Special thanks to my MUA Vejetha who recommended this place.

I must stress on how glad I am I made this choice. Her experience clearly reflects in her work. And her team are equally good. I recieved several compliments on all my looks, but mainly the Muhurtham look.

Decor: Amit
We found him at an event while hunting for decors for my sister's wedding. A local with super creative skills, he was my go to choice for my wedding and any other events to come. He adds more the what you ask for and helps you with cost effective and low budget decor ideas. Ever smiling and agreeing to all my last min changes and tantrums. Especially during these covid times, he is a gem
