5 Top Hotels & 5 Amazing All-Girls Activities In Thailand To Celebrate Your Bachelorette! *We Tried Them All!

BY Latha Sunadh | 08 May, 2017 | 1557 views | 6 min read

As you already know, we have recently gone on an amazing Thailand trip with a bunch of girls and tried out the coolest ideas from the country. From great restaurants and bars to the most interesting beach party set ups, Thailand had so much to offer. Also did I mention that it's super affordable and has a great mix of chilled out as well as go-crazy options for every kind of bachelorette holiday. What I mean is - you can choose your pace with Thailand, you want it fast and fun, you have it. And if you want it to be slow and peaceful - you've hit the spot. Something for everyone eh?

So we put together the best places one can stay at when in Thailand (I stayed in Koh Samui, Koh Phangan & Bangkok) and the  super cool activities and attractions that they have to offer. Now, that should make your decision easier, just point your finger at one of these and pick up the fun tab. Peace Resort, Koh Samui   Let's start with the simple fare first, Peace Resorts was a surprise for me because it was very boutique-y and homely on the inside while looking chic and sophisticated on the outside. Well, it was a wonderful thing to just laze around near the big pool in the property and just watch the sunset. The place is a mid-range luxury resort with fantastic views and amazing restaurants - the breakfast spread overlooking the calm and uncluttered beach says it all. The good thing about it was the fact that it was right in the middle of Bo phut Beach (The part of the city you'll want to hang by, trust me :P). The place has rooms for every budget and every kind - Deluxe Villas and Beach Front Deluxe Villas and super posh Terrace Rooms, each come with a private pool of it’s own. There were these really quaint bungalows with infinity pools and a gardens for girls who can pool in and get a bigger deal. If not, they even have these treehouse-kinda villas - teeny tiny but packed with a punch - so you could stay comfortably. Service was impeccable and food, yummy-licious. Bachelorette Fun Tip: The resort has a certified PADI spot with instructors who will teach you everything about diving, right from the basics to the advanced. A super fun and adventurous activity for a gang of girls to indulge in.   Buri Rasa Village, Koh Phangan An award-winning resort in Koh Phangan, Buri Rasa reminds you of a cozy boutique and laid back resort where one can just relax sipping a cocktail and relaxing on the beautiful beach. It's almost calming with soft bohemian interiors, large beds and a beach view.Every little corner of  the resort has a unique feel to it. The rooms are nice, modern and spacious and have a personal balcony with a stunning view of the sea. This mid-range luxe resort is an island in itself - it has a pool, a fitness centre, a nice shopping complex, lots of neat drinks and a spa-like atmosphere. Bachelorette Fun Tip: When at Buri Rasa, go for a yacht ride into the sunset - the hotel gives it for special occasions ( for a price of course!) so think - yummy food, champagne and warm sunsets on a boat with your best buds. Anantara Rasananda, Koh Phangan The Anantara chain of hotels are known for their impeccable service and their detailed interiors - we visited two properties, one at Koh Samui ( Anantara Bo phut) and Anantara Rasananda at Koh Phangan, the new and improved and understated space for the luxury traveller. The hotel has views to die for, rooms larger than any other hotel we have seen and world-famous restaurants that serve Japanese and Thai food. While we went to this hotel for some refreshing Thai Sangria and mountain and beach views, we loved how interestingly the interiors of the hotel were incorporated into the natural surroundings of theisland. Rooms were built into mountains, there was a sprawling brook inside and the bath tubs have you peeking out into the open sky. In one word: decadent! Bachelorette Fun Tip: We found out that this resort is known for two things - yoga and partying. Diametrically opposite, right? Not at all. The resort balances these two things beautifully - their customised yoga studio is amidst nature high up on the mountain inside the resort where you can have personalised classes with your BFFs and the beach is all lit up in the evening with some great music and fire shows. Enjoy all this while dining on the beach! Siam Kempinski, Bangkok The poshest hotel to stay in and the newest if you are looking to splurge. I'll say, think, jumping on smooth foamy beds, eating a delish brekkie in your room, hanging by the pool or hopping over to the inter-connected malls - yeah, all THAT! Siam Kempinski is what you are really looking for in hurried Bangkok, a place to indulge, a space to unwind and a hotel you could splurge at. There's multiple pools to hang with your BFFs, a fitness centre with excellent (and good looking!) trainers who could teach you a thing or two about Barre and of course, an indulgent food situation - from breakfast to lunch / dinner. The rooms are cozy and overlook the Bangkok skyline while our favourite remains this big Suite, ideal for a big gang that comes with beautiful large bedrooms, bathtub-y bathrooms and a dining hall. Bachelorette Fun Tip: Siam Kempinski is connected internally to the Siam Paragon Mall. Probably the best and most popular shopping mall in Bangkok. If you and your girls wanna go on a shopping binge - this is the best place to park yourselves! The Banyan Tree , Bangkok When in Bangkok, look for authentic and awe-inducing experiences - that's the mantra to live by. So we chanced upon Banyan Tree, a popular hotel chain that promises everything authentic and unique. The rooms are luxurious and spacious and the service is note-worthy. But more than anything, we loved that it hosted Bangkok’s first popular roof top bar - The Vertigo & Moon Bar, which is the place to party with your girls. We had a great night there with some yummy cocktails and a great crowd.  Bachelorette Fun Tip: Apsara Dinner Cruise by The Banyan Tree  my favourite experience on the trip. This unique luxury dinner cruise on the river showcases Bangkok by night as you throw back a few drinks and spend some quality time with your girls. You can see Bangkok in a daze with popular nightspots, temples lit up and all the major attractions.  The authentic Thai dinner was exceptional, the cocktails were yummy and the service was impeccable. This is a must do experience with your girls to have a perfect and beautiful finale to a Thailand trip. This sets you aside by approx Rs 5000 for an hour and a half and it’s super worth it.
