We know, we know, we throw a ton of advice on you all the time and dare we say our wedding and bridal advice is on point most of the times, but things and times are changing, and certain pieces of advice too! We've dished out a lot of gyaan to brides-to-be till now, but we seemed to have changed our stand on some of them now- after all, it's 2018, and weddings are undergoing somewhat of a change right?
When we told you it was not cool to be all match-matchy with the groom!

We were all for contrasting and pulling off unique looks which complement, but do not exactly match each other. Yes, we eat our words. Match-matchy does look good, but only when done in a classy and right way!
When we advocated pre wedding shoots with loads of props and glam outfits

While there is no harm in getting your pre wedding shoot with loads and loads of props, fact is, it does become outdated after sometime. The photos and the whole concept we mean- pre wedding shoots have become pretty cliche. But you know what doesn't go out of style? A pre wedding shoot with loads and loads of chemistry between the two of you- no matter what the backdrop or setting!
When we were told you giant floral wreaths for the Mehendi were cool

Back in 2015 we advocated floral wreaths for your Mehendi on your head here. But now this is also something that's become somewhat of an overkill- I mean when everyone at a Mehendi is wearing one, it looks more like a garden than anything else. The bride wearing it, but with a twist like this- looks pretty, but only when done right!

When we told you to hire your talented friends for planning your wedding

Not professional friends, but just those who can handle things- we told you here that you can hire them to cut some big costs. But now we have come to realise that nothing can beat the services a good wedding planner can offer- even save you some big money on a lot of other things!
When we told you that the bride should not wear a watch or carry a clutch- under any circumstances!

Yup, we listed it as a big don't here- that watches and bridal wear do not go, but we change our stand. These days you have some stunning watches with or without embellishments which look great, and hey, after all you're a modern bride- do whatever your heart desires and a good watch is always timeless! Want to sport a watch- go ahead and do it! Clutches are great too, after all, you do need your phone around you for Insta, don't you? :P
