So we at WedMeGood have featured enough Sikh weddings to realise one thing- there's something so special and unique about Sikh brides and almost all of them have this timeless grace about them (yea, we're ALL envious of their hair, but they do it without flaunting at the wedding!). So we decided to put together a post on the little tips and ideas from Sikh brides which are inspiring for every other bride!
Vintage jewellery never fails!

We see a lot of Sikh brides sporting vintage jewellery pieces which have been handed down over generations, and it looks so old-school and pretty! Sikh brides are pretty big with maangtikkas and huge naths, and they look splendid!
You don't need to show skin to look good

A lot of Sikh brides don't even show off their tummy, and they still manage to look so stylish and pretty! They usually have long cholis with their lehengas and 3/4th or full sleeves or choose to wear a suit hence proving that brides can manage to look glam without showing skin!

A lot of Sikh brides wear veils all over their face during the ceremony, and it looks so elegant! Plus how amazing does it look in photos?

Most Sikh brides we spot usually pick pastels and soft colours (since they have a morning wedding), but some of them manage to pull off a stark and dark makeup look with it! Yep, a red lip never looked so great with a light pink lehenga right?
