4 Wedding Color Combinations to bookmark for 2015!

BY The WMG Bride | 05 Jan, 2015 | 9352 views | 2 min read

2014 may have been the year of pastels, and while that trend continues for Indian weddings- whats hot for 2015 is the juxtaposition of pastels with deeper colors. So combine a deep, jewel tone with a barely there whispery pale color and you have yourself all the color pallettes you need for 2015. 1-wedding-colors-indian-2015 Deep red, Wine, Burgundy as a contrast to a pale, blush pink is going to be all the rage in coming months. Incorporate it as a blush, pale dupatta on your head in contrast to your red lehenga, as a soft pink drape of your mandap against red flowers, or just as dark red rubies against a blush floor length anarkali. This color pallete is princessy but with a grown up touch. 2-wedding-colors-indian-2016 Mint had to be the color of the season in 2014 and its run continues. Instead of just mints and pinks however, 2015 is about getting more edgy with mint. Combine it with dark emerald green, and a glistening gold for an amazing color pallette. Wear emeralds with your mint anarkali, use an emerald green border for your mint lehenga, give out a mint card with gold confetti in it or just hang emerald and mint balloons in mehendi! 3-wedding-colors-indian-2017 The pastel of the year in 2015 we predict is going to be Salmon. A soft cross between peach and pink - Salmon is a gorgeous, pale color that is being seen every where ! Wear a salmon lehenga to your engagement, a Salmon kanjivaram  with a shimmery lace blouse, and a glittery gold table cloth over your dinner arrangements. Absolutely stunning 4-wedding-colors-indian-2018 Purple  is making a HUGE comeback this season thanks to Manish Malhotras autumn winter show , and while most people may think purple is tacky, when you wear it in a rich velvet skirt with a pale lavender dupatta or do your decor in various hues of orchids it can be the most ethereal, royal color ever.
